Locking device for sliding roofing of the swimming pool
Sedláček, Jan ; Hort, Filip (referee) ; Brandejs, Jan (advisor)
In first part, this bachelor thesis tries to summary possibilities of covering and roofing of swimming pool. It deals in detail with the most expanded type of swimming pool roofing – the sliding roofing. The analysis of roofing efficiency has been performed and the primary positivities of this type of roofing have been founded. The next section describes constituent elements of sliding roofing. The second part of bachelor thesis focuses on design of locking device for sliding roofing of the swimming pool. First, the proposal of solutions was done. The proposal is based on two solutions. The first proposal is based on the idea of railroad conduction in all segments, the second proposal suggest the railrod conduction only for the biggest segment, the other segments wheel on the floor. For the design was chosen second proposal, created a 3D model and drawn the assembly drawing.
Tool changing of vertical turning lathe
Huňka, Radek ; Skýpala, Milan (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the problems of tool changing of vertical turning lathe. Specifically about modular system of spindle locking in a ram. The master's thesis is shows types of structural design, choosing the best design with supporting technical - economics evaluation. After this is realized series of calculation controls. These define dimensions of the mechanical parts.
Hellinger-Reissner Variational Principle Based Quadrilateral Finite Element
Středulová, Monika ; Eliáš, Jan
The Finite Element Method is without a doubt one of the most prominent tools in solving the equations governing mechanics of solids. It is an approximative method and, as such, its performance largely depends on the definition of the finite element used in a computation. The simplest elements, based on one primary field, tend to suffer from “locking”, that is excessive stiffness when an element is subjected to bending or the material is nearing the limit of incompressibility. One of the alternatives is the use of an element based on multiple primary fields. The present article aims to describe one such element (based on mixed-field Hellinger-Reissner variational principle) and analyze its robustness in comparison to other methods which were used in the past to mitigate locking. The analysis will be done in the framework of linear elastostatics.
