Jan Pfeiffer 2023 Abstract The subject of this work is black, or the designation for color. But it is also an artistic concept and means of expression. The subject of my interest are selected cases of the black phenomenon in visual arts, culture, and their possibilities in education. I understand black as a phenomenon that I explore through my own creative work. In the course of it, I ask myself questions, such as: what stimuli, for example, black gives us and how it is connected with our socio-cultural background and its perception. I also ask contemporary artists working consciously or unconsciously with black, what black enables them in their work, and how it supports them, whether it is crucial for them. My intention is to open new perspectives on the subject of black and its connection with daily life, the ability to treat this phenomenon as a conscious gesture, an opinion - distinguishing different uses of black context. Vliv barevného odstínu pigmentové povrchové úpravy na teplotu povrchu nábytkových dílců

The bachelor thesis based on experimental measurements of previously prepared samples. The samples are made of beech plywood. They are finished by pickling with various pigments and exposed to daylight in exterior. The thesis investigates influence of colour shade of pigment surface finishing on wood furniture to the physic-mechanical properties of surface finishing but mainly to the temperature of finished surface. Other properties examined are hardness, adhesion, and colour shade, degree of damage and abrasion resistance. The result of thesis is evaluation and description of achievements with the contribution for practice and new findings.

Abstract English Name: Vladimír Vaněk The name of the Bachelor's thesis: Surface treatment of wooden garden gazebos and summerhouses stains coatings. This thesis is focused on the monitoring of changes in the quality of the surface treatment of wood wooden gazebos and summerhouses. The aim of this work was to verify the physico-mechanical properties of components that are exposed during the period of exposure to the outdoors and are intended for the manufacture of wooden gazebos and summerhouses. In the theoretical part we deal with the current trend of completion of timber products, including factors that affect the properties of the completed surface. The practical part is focused on the change in the quality of the surface finish of parts. Massive spruce wood (Picea abies) was chosen as background material, which was modified in shape, surface refacing and then impregnated. Spruce parts were divided into two halves, each half of which has been treated with different stain. One half was treated with a thin-film layer stain and the other half thick-film layer stain. After completing the finishes were all test samples exposed to the exterior. The aim of the Bachelor thesis in the experimental part of the change was to compare the quality of the surface in the course of one calendar year. The results are based on practical measurement of test samples. Measurement at the Institute of furniture, design and housing of Mendel University in Brno, where the measured color, hardness, gloss and surface roughness. Vliv exteriéru na vlastnosti nátěrového filmu

This thesis investigates the influence of weather conditions on the properties of the film.There was selected six kinds of tree species, which are used for the manufacturing of the outdoor furniture the most. There was a request for possibility to grow this kinds of trees in the Czech Republic. There was used five shades of color on the each tree species. Samples were tested at the laboratory before putting to the exposure and when the summer season was over, samples were tested as before. In discussion there is statistical comparison of changes which occurred on the surfaces of the samples. In the end of the diploma thesis is evaluation which are the best tree species and the best color shades for the manufacturing of the garden furniture.

This thesis deals with monitoring changes in surface finishing of spruce and larch wood in outdoors. Using outdoor weathering tests the properties of two kinds of paints were tested by - a thin glaze and oil paint, two shades from each. In this work, the influence of the composition of the paint on its durability and light fastness was examined. This issue is closely related to the resistance of coatings to weathering, including solar radiation (UVA and UVB), atmospheric oxygen, relative humidity, temperature, precipitation, biological attack, chemical impacts (air pollution, acid rain, etc.).

Vliv dlouhodobě působící zvýšené teploty prostředí na vlastnosti povrchových úprav

The thesis is focused on the effect of long-acting high temperature environment on the properties of transparent finishes lacquers. Samples of oak, beech and spruce wood are finished with transparent acrylic waterborne dispersion of a transparent two-component polyurethane coat. The samples coated with the surface film are exposed to temperature of 100 ° C for 28 days. Physical-mechanical properties of coating films are laboratory verified after seven days. The result of the thesis is the evaluation of measured values that are obtained by the methods ČSN and EN.
