Sprirituality of marriage
Černý, Jiří ; Lachmanová, Kateřina (advisor) ; Opatrný, Aleš (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with marriage, especially the christian one. The marriage is viewed from the perspective of spirituality, as a God willed way of life, a way of encountering God and leading towards God. First, the thesis defines what spirituality is as well as its supporting elements (key elements). Next, it deals with the lay state generally and the particular form of the the life of laymen - marriage. It studies the testimony of the Old and New Testaments of marriage and the parallel of the relationship between man and woman and God and man, more precisely between Christ and the church. Subsequently, following the introduction into a general doctrine of sacraments, the thesis applies this doctrine to the sacrament of marriage. It sees the dimension of community in widening circles of partnership, through parenthood to the extended family or society. In the conclusion, the thesis points at the characteristic signs of individual elements of spirituality in marriage.
