The conductive layers in LTCC
Poledník, Tomáš ; Psota, Boleslav (referee) ; Kosina, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis was focused on a determination of the limits of screen printing and on estabilishing a power loading of layers on LTCC. It describes the print of the conductive themes via the screen-printing method on the substrata. The thesis contains the description of a measuring on the conductive layers, and a processing its results. It was also performed the printing of layers on a corundum ceramics in order to compare the results. From the measured values were formed the graphs, which represent the possibility of the power loading of layers depending on the temperature and on the width of the thick-layer guide.
Production of Multilayer PCB
Janda, Ondřej ; Zatloukal, Miroslav (referee) ; Starý, Jiří (advisor)
This master thesis introduces the problematics of multilayer printed circuit boards. Theoretical part is focused on materials used for production of multilayer PCB and their parameters. At the same time, it focuses on the pressing process of multi-layered PCB, the types of presses used and their advantages and disadvantages. Practical part describes the methodology and testing of the PCB to identify the reliability of chosen electrical parameters. Testing is aimed to simulate thermal stress during machine soldering and during thermal stress in the target environment.
Lamination of ceramic tapes
Smiešková, Jana ; Pouchlý, Václav (referee) ; Trunec, Martin (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with ways of lamination of ceramic tapes prepared by gel–tape casting method. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part, a literary recherche, describes methods of production of thin ceramic layers. The main focus is on the tape casting method. The second, experimental, part of the thesis describes the preparation of ceramic suspensions, the fabrication of thin ceramic layers by gel–tape casting method, the preparation of laminated bodies from thick-walled discs and laminated tapes and it also shows a possibility of creating of ceramic layers by the spin coating method used on polycrystalline ceramic substrate.
Flying knife Sheet separation module for new laminator Delta 52 model 2018
Brýdl, Adam ; Marek, Tomáš (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
The task of this bachelor thesis is the proposal of module for sheets separation by Flying knife metod. It exists a lot of method, how problem of separation sheets solve. My goal is to take a solution using the quick knife method, in english is usually used Flying knife method. This technology will be used on the prototype machine Delta 52.
Dust
Zadražilová, Lenka ; Klímová, Barbora (referee) ; Kvíčala, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis will focus on dust. It works with particles that are rather neglected or, on the contrary, unwanted and undesirable for people. The work tries on a long-term effort to approach and beautify this (according to common perception) anesthetic part of our homes, air and world. Elevating a disparaged part of all lives. It explores how dust and all the elements of dust can be used in art. The project is based on several years of interest in dust and the possibilities of its visibility, preservation and use for artistic creation. It is the basis for several cycles of various related works. In the cycles appear different approaches to dust processing and different dust issues. In the units are highlighted various layers that dust can have not only in the literal meaning (layers, dust deposits on things, in places) but also in a transferred meaning (as a literary, scientific, philosophical, psychological concept)
Enhancement of print lightfastness by varnishing and lamination
Komárková, Hana ; Reháková, Milena (referee) ; Dzik, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with recent methods of lightfastness evaluation of both classic and digitally printed photographs. It summarizes the experimental methods used for colour change measurements. Primarily, it studies an influence of additional protection on lightfastness enhancement. Lightfastness testing of colour prints was carried out by accelerated ageing. Samples were prepared by 3 types of inkjet printers and 3 different print media. The surface of photographs was left untreated or modified by varnishing or lamination. A set of samples, thus achieved, was used to monitor a print behaviour during the light exposure. In conclusion effects of used receiving layer, ink or additional surface treatment were discussed. Colour changes were evaluated on the basis of measured reflectance spectra from which colorimetric quantities were calculated. Results were processed using VolGa application. An actual print-life was calculated from the plot of the normalized gamut volume loss and the exposure.
Optimization of Cavity Fabrication in Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramics
Dóczy, Robert ; Somer, Jakub (referee) ; Štekovič, Michal (advisor)
This work deals with the fabrication of closed cavities in Low Temperature Co-Fired Ceramics (LTCC). In recent years, the LTCC ceramics have become widely used in the areas of sensors, MEMS and micro-fluidic applications. When fabricating such devices, it is important that the cavities maintain their compactness and dimensions after the manufacturing process . This is achieved primarily with the right choice of lamination process and its parameters and also by appropriate setting of the firing profile. The theoretical part describes the various steps in the production of LTCC structures and the most common technological processes used for creating structures with cavities and micro - channels . In the practical part are selected laminating procedures performed on the test pattern, which contains cavities of different sizes. Emphasis was placed on the correct execution of each method , while gradually modifying the lamination parameters. The achieved results are further discussed in terms of process parameters and their influence on the dimensions of manufactured cavities.
The lamination of Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic
Hudeček, Ondřej ; Klíma, Martin (referee) ; Kosina, Petr (advisor)
Master’s thesis deals with the optimalization of low-temperature cofired ceramic lamination process that affects the final quality of 3D structures (eg., channels, cavities, membranes, etc.). The paper evaluates the influence of lamination parameters (pressure, temperature, time) on the formation of defects in the structure, which were detected by appropriate methods. The last parts describes designed and simulation cooling water system using LTCC technology.
