in English The topic of my thesis is the termination of employment. The theme I have chosen mainly because it concerns every person, whether acting as an employee or an employer. Termination of employment is a topic very timely, because of contradictions between employers and employees is constantly increasing. The subject of this paper is to describe and characterize the principles of termination of employment, parsing methods of termination of employment, general questions origination and termination of employment, analyze the legal proceedings leading to the termination of employment, legal events leading to the termination of employment, the official decision leading to termination of employment, termination of employment based appointment - dismissal from the post of a senior employee or a waiver of the place, claims related to the termination of employment and also to evaluate the applicable legislation, including proposals de lege ferenda. I proceed from the courts, which reflects the problems arising from the application of rules of labour law in practice.

Thesis is focused on the systematic interpretation of the issue of termination of employment and associated terms. The first chapter focuses on a general definition of labor law, as a legal branch covering the termination of employment. The second chapter was devoted to the relationship between the Labour Code and the Civil Code. In the third chapter were mentioned the most important international documents on the subject of the thesis. The fourth and fifth chapters were focused on the main principles of labor law and it's entities. The sixth chapter describes ways of termination of employment, while the seventh chapter contains the duties of the subjects of labor relations related to termination of employment. Modes of termination of employment The aim of the thesis is to analyze the legislation and characterize the various modes of termination of employment in the Czech labor law. I have chosen this theme mainly because it is a dynamically evolving and current topic, and it is a constant subject of lively debate in society. The issue of termination of employment affects a wide range of people, governs the relationship between employees and employers. This diploma thesis consists of an introduction, general and specific part, which are further divided into chapters each, and a final part. The general part deals with basic questions of labor law related to termination of employment. It is divided into six chapters. Chapters define the matter of labor law, the concept and elements of the employment relationship and explain the meaning and importance of the principles and functions of labor law. The most important is the protective function, which greatly affects the termination of employment. A significant impact on the Czech labor law has also the law of the European Union and the international organizations. This chapter deals with the relationship between civil and labor law. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to provide readers with a more complex view of current legislation for the termination of employment stated in the labour code with regard to provisions, which came into force in January 2012. I have tried to describe its advantages and disadvantages and suggest possible recommendations for its improvement based on the opinion of an employer. The first chapter deals with employment, the principles of labour relations and its participants. The second chapter is devoted to the topic of termination of employment, both by employers and employees. In the third chapter I describe the employer's duties, which have to be fulfilled during the process of termination of employment. The last chapter focuses on the practical part of this thesis. By method of interview with an employer, I am interested in opinions and recommendations for current legislation of termination of employment. Finally, I deal with the period after termination of employment, retraining courses and the European Social Fund, which is the most important source of finance for these courses.
