Standard of Living and Labour Productivity in the Visegrad Group

The main goal of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate whether labour productivity is linked directly with the standard of living in the Visegrad Group, including countries such as the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland. To be clear what the standard of living and labour productivity is, these terms are in the theoretical part described aswell as their indicators are defined there. These indicators are later used for the practical part where the comparison between each of the state and average values of the EU27 is made. A correlation and regression analysis is used to determine the link between labour productivity per employee and 3 standard of living indicators (Gini index, median equivalised net household income and human development index) in the V4 countries. Data, which are processed for the comparison, are taken from the Eurostat and the World Bank database.
Differences in productivity of individual sectors in EU countries

The diploma thesis deals with labour productivity in the states of the European Union, primarily in terms of industry. The main objective is to assess the differences in the sectoral labour productivity of the EU countries. The thesis is focused first on the economics of growth, productivity and its types and then on labour productivity. The practical part in the first part deals with the analysis of labour productivity for the whole economy in individual EU countries. The next part analyses the labour productivity of EU countries in the manufacturing industry and individual sections of this sector, which are divided according to technological intensity. EU countries are analysed using labour productivity in absolute terms and according to the dynamics of labour productivity growth in the period 2010-2019. The last part shows the change in the level of labour productivity during the period under review and further defines the main differences in the sectoral labour productivity of the EU countries.
Possibilities of Increasing Effectiveness of Wage System in Company

This diploma thesis deals with the efficiency of the remuneration system of a selected company. The term effective wage system of a company may be interpreted as a correctly set wage system. To evaluate a wage system, it was necessary to analyse the wage system, costs, and labour productivity of the selected company. Labour productivity was compared with the largest competitors in the Czech and European markets. Based on the obtained data, measures were proposed to improve the efficiency of the wage system.

The main goal of this work is to assess the development of labour productivity and labour costs in the countries of the European Union. A partial goal is to define the link between labour productivity and labour costs in individual EU countries, compare them and finds out in which countries labour costs and labour productivity are in interaction and where not. The work contains important data about individual members of the European Union from the European Statistical Office (Eurostat) from 2008-2019.
Remuneration System and Productivity of Human Resources in a Company

The bachelor's thesis deals with the remuneration system and productivity of human resources in a company. Remuneration of employees is an issue that must be constantly addressed by every company. A properly set payroll system can contribute to employee satisfaction, increase their motivation to work and reduce fluctuation. The main aim of thesis is to evaluate the system of remuneration used in the selected company Schwan Cosmetics CR, s.r.o., which produces cosmetic pencils and is based in Český Krumlov. At the beginning there is the characteristics of the company. Further, the study focuses on the remuneration system, especially the way in which the wage of employees is determined and what benefits they use. Next part is devoted to the productivity of human resources and methods of its measurement in the company. The necessary information was obtained from publicly available reports, but also from the website and the company's internal resources. According to the data and the calculated results, possible changes to increase human capital are proposed.
Economic growth and labour productivity in the Visegrad Group countries

The thesis deals with the examination of economic growth and labour productivity in the countries of the Visegrad Group, specifically in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary, between 2008 and 2019. Part of the work is also a survey of economic growth and labour productivity of the EU 27 and EU 15 average. At first the thesis explains the theoretical basis concerning to the issue of economic growth, productivity and labour productivity. These findings are then used in the survey. The survey is consisted of four - five -analyses: analysis of economic growth, analysis of labour productivity, analysis of real unit labour costs, analysis of capital labour ratio and regression analysis. Analyses are presented by graphs and tables and use data from the statistical office of the European Union - Eurostat. The findings are subsequently evaluated and compared between the countries. To conclude the links between labour productivity and economic growth, capital labour ratio and the real unit labour costs are examined. This analysis is created using the STATISTICA program. The results of the thesis then point to the economic situation and differences of individual countries of the Visegrad group, EU 27 and EU 15 and compare them with each other.
Company Costs and Connection with the Labour Productivity

This bachelor's thesis focuses on analysis of costs development in relation to labour productivity. Calculations of the labour productivity are performed on the whole-company as well as on the production cost center base and results are given in-kind and in-cash. Based on the analysed development of labour productivity, the causes of year-on-year changes in personnel costs are identified. At the end of the work, possible solutions are proposed to increase the level of labour productivity and reduce costs in the monitored company.

The presented bachelor thesis deals with the assessment of selected economic aspects of the established process innovation in the field of production digitalization in the selected company. The economic benefits of innovation for the company were formulated on the basis of the economic indicators results evaluation. The analysis and evaluation of the implemented process innovation in a broader context clearly shows that the specific process innovation in the field of production digitalization has become a significant benefit for the company, as it has a positive impact on the company as well as on its employees and future direction. Digitization in general thus represents a clear trend that the analysed society intends to continue.
The relationship between the labour productivity and the economic performance of small and medium-sized enterprises

This thesis deals with the relationship between the labour productivity and the economic performance of small and medium-sized enterprises. It is divided into the theoretical and the practical part. The metodology of this thesis describes the process of creating this work. The theoretical part of this thesis is the result of studying the literature. It contains basic information about the labour productivity and the economic performance. The economic performance is expressed by the indicators of the liquidity, profitability, indebtedness, activity, creditworthy and bankruptcy models and the Economic value added. The practical part of this thesis deals with the data processing from Albertina database, where all the necessary data can be found. For the purposes of this theses, a part of the data from Czech engineering industry was used, specificaly manufacture of electrical equipment (27 CZ-NACE) in the time period of 2013 - 2017. This data was further processed and analyzed. The next part of thesis is the analysis of the relationships between the labour productivity and the three indicators of economic performance - Return on Assets, index IN05 and the creditworthiness index. The last part of all is the conclusion where all found relations are described.
The remuneration system and productivity of human resources in a company

The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the current system of remuneration and productivity of human resources in a company. Furthermore, measures are proposed to improve the current situation based on the data obtained. In the first part of the thesis, on the basis of secondary data, it defines the remuneration system, total reward and remuneration strategy. Then the thesis focuses on wage forms and employee benefits. The next section describes the factors affecting productivity, its types and measurements. In the last part it examines human resources management, defining its basic concepts, functions and strategies. Production plant called Mektec Manufacturing Corporation Europe CZ s.r.o. operating in České Budějovice has been selected for the processing of the second part. At first there is the characterisation of the company in general. Furthermore, the thesis pays attention to the applied remuneration system and internal productivity measurement. The necessary information was obtained on the website and personal consultation with the company's employees. Subsequently, an analysis of work productivity in the period from 2012 to 2017 is performed using formulas based on value added and revenues of products and services. The next part deals with the relationship of the development of personal and total costs and the comparison of labor productivity development with the growth rate of personnel costs. Finally, based on the analysis of the labor productivity and the actual remuneration model recommendations have been articulated suggesting how to develop an improved remuneration model.
