Design and fabrication of the multimeter
Daněk, Martin ; Levek, Vladimír (referee) ; Háze, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to design and build a multimeter. Firstly, multimeters, their history and basic parameters are described, followed by an analysis of existing solutions with a similar topic. Next, theory of measurement of basic electrical quantities is described and the first prototype is proposed. Finally, the first prototype is evaluated, necessary adjustments applied, and the final prototype is proposed and evaluated.
Precision data logger of electrical values
Tomíček, Pavel ; Boušek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Levek, Vladimír (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to design electronic device capable of low-noise long-term measurements of electronic parts and their dependance on atmospheric conditions. First the thesis deals with the theory of low noise precision design. Then electronic components used for signal measurement are studied. At last the block and electronic schematic of the datalogger is described. Device is capable of measuring voltage, resistance, temperature, humidity and pressure. Focus is on the capabilities of voltage measurement. Control of the device is by computer application.
