Danger of misuse of existing social networks
PLCHOVÁ, Eliška
Currently, social networks are an irreplaceable communication medium not only for adults, but also for children and adolescents. Social networks make possible to realize many interesting activities, they can be used for an entertainment, education and especially for a communication with friends. The aim of my diploma thesis was to find out risks associated with the use of the social networks at older school children. To discover, on a chosen sample of children from upper primary schools, what is their experience with a security of personal data, how much time they spend on social networks, if they met some offensive content, whether they see dangers associated with the use of the social networks etc. In the theoretical part I dealt with a basic definition of individual social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Badoo, Xchat, Lidé (People), Spolužáci (Classmates), LíbímSeTi (DoYouLikeMe). Then I also defined basic means of the internet communication, its specifics and I described newly emerged phenomena which were, as a form a socio-pathological behaviour, very closely connected to an improper use of the social networks. For a closer recognition of the research sample I shortly characterized the behaviour of the older school children, their relationship to peers, their need for an identification and leisure time. An important component of it there is also a prevention, counselling and support on the internet. In the conclusion I briefly explained advices and principles of the secure internet from a perspective of a minor user, a parent and a teacher. A quantitative research investigation was carried out within the thesis. It was realized via an electronic questionnaire with children from upper primary schools at five chosen elementary schools. Specifically, there were Elementary School in Trhové Sviny, Ledenice, Pohůrka, České Budějovice - Nová St. (remote site in J. S. Baar St.) and Otakar Nedbal St. Two hypotheses were determined: H1: Users are not informed about a possibility to secure their personal data. And H2: Users do not see any danger in the use of social networks. Results have been presented in graphs with a subsequent statistical summary in MS Excel. The results of the thesis can be used especially by specialists dealing with this issue, then by professionals working with adolescents and last but not least, also by the children´s parents themselves, who have a fear or feel insecurity in their child´s behaviour on the internet.

Interpretation is set in chapter Discussion. In conclusion of thesis I generally review the most important outcomes of research and suggest proceeding which would lessen riskiness of some phenomenoms on the internet. LIŠKOVÁ, Radka
The thesis deals with the phenomenon of the internet lifestyle. Theoretical volume of the work describes the lifestyle, all the psychological aspects of usage of the Internet. The advantages and disadvantages involved in using the Internet and statistical data regarding the usage of the Internet. The main aim of the thesis is to try to recognize inner experiences of the internet users and to understand this specific inner world. The questionnaire was done to map favourite activities used on the Internet. What motivates the Internet users and all the experiences connected with the Internet. How much are the users aware of the risks inflicted by the Internet. How it can influence the life and the relationship of respondents and the impact on their life throughout their life. To gather the data, for this survey, was applied the qualitative research method and the phenomenological access. The methodology triangulation techniques were emphasised. Among the respondents who were asked, were students of the South Bohemian University in České Budějovice. Two techniques were chosen which one of them was structured interview with open questions (2 interviews performed on 10 respondents) and a questionnaire with open questions (20 anonymous questionnaires). This was applied on chat servers. The result for this research shows that using the Internet is mainly the need to communicate and to gain information. Among the respondents? favourite activities were for example watching sitcoms or searching information. The emotions which users feel depend on the activity which they do. The positive ones are dominate to negative ones, but the frequency contradicts with the living emotions. The biggest influence of the Internet on respondents? life is to get information easily, simplified communication and the possibility to meet new people. The relationship which the respondents have towards the Internet is mostly stable. The biggest risk the respondents consider is using the Internet by small children, sharing which result in misuse of data, arranging meeting with strangers, above all on the ground of numerous occurrences of sexual aggressors etc. The cultural activities and prevention of the usage and all risks concerning the Internet should be more pursued in the future. In the short conclusion of the philosophical survey the question:"What we gain and lose because of the Internet?" The Internet provided us with the easy access to information, new ways how to meet other people, the knowledge, entertainment, etc. On the other hand it deprives us from spending free time, personal get - togetherness, motivation and loosing the childhood.

The theoretical part explains basic concepts related to bullying and a prevention of this phenomenon. Then it informs on a hazard of individual forms and grades of bullying, principles of diagnosis and preventive actions. It also introduces specific prevention programs and projects, which have been or are being implemented in the Czech Republic, there are set out information and basic ideas of the programs. There are also mentioned various organizations dealing with the problem of bullying. In the practical part there are presented results from the qualitative research carried out at elementary schools in České Budějovice, Třeboň, Zliv and Nové Hrady. An analysis of free written essays was used as a technique for data collecting. Respondents were pupils of the second level from mentioned elementary schools who worked up above stated free written essays. They experience of bullying should have been described by them in those essays. A goal of the thesis was to map experience of pupils from the second level of elementary schools with bullying and to analyse their spontaneous written statements on bullying through research questions dealing with both experience and also awareness of pupils on forms of bullying and a hazard rate of its individual forms. Our analysis was based on the assumption, that the pupils used a projection during their writing, thus they projected their real experiences into their stories. The research suggests the following conclusions: Respondents in their works mostly mentioned as a victim of bullying a pupil from whom an aggressor demanded the money. The most frequently mentioned is a blended form of bullying that means a combination of physical and verbal forms. Respondents describe that the victim confer with the problem itself or bullying was reported by a classmate, who knew about it and then it was solved. When it was reported in a short time, everything went well, but as the second mentioned option, a solution of bullying only after the apparent injury of the victim, is mentioned. The results of the thesis demonstrate a level of awareness of the pupils from the second level of elementary schools on individual forms of bullying and their hazards. Findings learned from the works could be an instruction how to proceed in similar situations and how to prevent them.
The Vexation at the workplace
Chaloupková, Naďa ; Hejda, Jan (advisor)
The border between common and vexation matter of person behaviour we are accustomed to is very slight. The topic of my diploma paper "Vexation at the workplace" becomes very actual and constantly the bigger problem in the contemporary modern society. Everyday mentally terror at the workplace, vexation among the colleagues, systematically made malignancies through which the superiors attack their inferiors (or vice-versa) is a problem that belongs serious incoveniences both to its victims and the company. My diploma paper is above all focused on the sophisticated and malicious area of work-vexation that is called the mobbing. Marginally I mention other forms of vexation and the bossing. I made my exploration at the public service environment as the work-vexation is usually put together with it. Primarily I point the legal and moral side of the mobbing and its psychological and social aspects. Secondarily I mark the mobbing as a job-psychological phenomenon, its influence to the company itself and consequences between it and some modern society trends (teamwork, power, burn-out syndrome, internet technologies). Supposing to become the managers we should make effort to eliminate the mobbing. As only the workplace without the vexation brings the satisfaction that can results in higher level of the work productivity, economic profit and the the incapacity of work decreasement. Thereby the mobbing affects the whole life of its victim and also that anyone of us can become the victim it is necessary to solve this problem urgently and constantly.
