The quality evaluation system of the low-threshold club Jahoda services

Diploma thesis "The quality evaluation system of the low-threshold club Jahoda services" deals with questions of evaluation and rising of social services quality, which is the primary objective for well functional organization in commercial as well as noncommercial zone. Thesis is primary applied to sphere of social services and its aim is making proposal for evaluation of services quality for concrete institution providing low-threshold social services to children from 6 to 15years old. The first part describes social services in legal social services in legal and describes low- threshold institutions for children and teenagers, representation low-threshold club Jahoda. Next targets are about possible styles of evaluation provided services quality and their fixation in standards of social services quality. The second part of thesis is practical part, which attends to the proposal of system for quality evaluation offered services in low-threshold club Jahoda. Proposal of this system is coming out from analysis of present system used in the institution and its main part is questionnaire investigation between users, employees, volunteers and trainees of NZDM Jahoda. Pilot was tested between all persons interested in and its representation is a part of the thesis to.

Process of Implementing Standards for Quality in Social Services into Couselling Services Acting within the Scope of Archdiocese Charity of Olomouc

The work described in the first part the creation of Standards for Quality in Social Services, their importance for providers, clients and for the evaluation of social services as well as legislative adjustment of Standards for Quality. The second section describes the meaning of guidance, the progress of counselling in the UK and the Czech Republic as well as a brief overview of the Association of Civil advice and counselling services acting within the scope of Archdiocesan charity Olomouc. The third part maps the situation of the selected counselling services with regard to process of implementing Standards for Quality in Social Services advisory practice, interprets the results and formulate identified major problems and the biggest obstacles that counselling services in this area feel. Achieved results are summarized at the end of the work.
THE IMPORTANCE OF GUALITY INSPECTION OF THE PROVISION OF SOCIAL SERVICES IN MEETING THE GUALITY STANDARDS FOR SOCIAL SERVICES IN SHELTERED HOUSING FACILITIES

The thesis deals with the topic of ?The importance of quality inspection of the provision of social services in meeting the Quality Standards for Social Services in sheltered housing facilities?. The inspection is a social policy tool of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs the purpose of which is the inclusion of persons threatened by social exclusion. The main objective of the thesis was to determine the effect of the inspections on the quality of provided social services in sheltered housing facilities. Based on the gathered data the following hypothesis was formulated: The quality of the provided social services in sheltered housing facilities is not directly affected by the inspection. One of the partial objectives of the thesis was to determine the effect of the inspection of the provided social services on lives of residents in sheltered housing facilities and the following hypothesis was formulated for the purpose: The inspections of the provided social services do not have any significant impact on the lives of residents in sheltered housing facilities. The qualitative research related to the main objective used the technique of a semi-structured interview. The method selected for the qualitative research for the partial objective was inquiring by means of a questionnaire. The surveyed group consisted of 15 employees and 67 residents of sheltered housing facilities in Veselí nad Lužnicí, Ústí nad Orlicí and in Brno. Based on the above mentioned facts and the completed research I believe that the objectives of the thesis were met and the hypotheses were tested by means of two qualitative surveys.
Needs and Their Fulfillment For Persons With Mental and Combined Disabilities in Selected Facilities For Adults In Prague

Bachelor thesis examining the needs and need fulfillment of persons with mental and combined disabilities in selected adult facilities in Prague. The theoretical part contains definitions of mental disability, retardation and combined disability and describes the needs of persons with mental disabilities. This section then reports on social services and the Social Services Act, and evaluates the present condition of social services in Prague. The practical part analyzes three selected daily welfare institutions - Modry Klic, Ruka Pro Zivot and Ratolest - and assess their success in meeting the biological, psychological and social needs of their clients. Overall, the rate of satisfaction with clients' need fulfillment in these selected institutions is relatively high.
Quality Standards for Social Services and their Implementation in Residential Senior Care

A Genesis and formulation quality standard for social care is related to demographic trends and were going in context with community planning. Specific requirements are assigning for residential senior care. An implementation quality standard was accomplished in institution ``Domov pro seniory sv. Jiří v Plzni{\crqq} (DSJ), that provide residential social services for senior citizens. In DSJ was created governance documentation ISO 9001 compatible in intranet environment and requirements of standards was performing in processes. This change was connected with deep transformation in staff behavior and knowledge. Success was verified by internal audit, witch was served as training for quality inspection as well. Quality standards implementation was improved client satisfaction, but last not leased was increased education costs. Documented knowledge of this project is applicable as best practices for similar service providers.
