The aim of this work is to provide for background research about preparation and combustion of biomass. Technologies for preparation of biomass including ingathering prior to combustion are described in the first part of this work. Different ways combustion of biomass and comparison of different types of grates are in the second part of the thesis.

Search in the area of boiler and their design

The aim of thesis is to create a division of boilers used in industry, especially boilers to generate heat and electricity, and describe the main parts of the boiler compiles in detail. Another task of this work is to build the basic procedure for a draft industrial boilers according to valid standards. These boilers are used for strength calculation, where the calculated pressure-resistant components and thermal calculation, in which are heat areas projectet.

This bachelor’s thesis deal with a biomass boilers. In the first part of this thesis is discribed biomass like a fuel for a boilers. Second part shortly discribes a combustion proces and possible construction these device. Main thing in this thesis is calculations a exchanger and with it nessesery calculations quantiti of air, produkt of combustion, enthalpy, calculations heat transfer surface and suggestion exchange.

The subject of this thesis is the heating and hot water preparation in the residential house in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. Object has four floors and basement. In each floor there are two residential units. In thebasement there is a utility room with heating, gas boiler cascade. Used to heat-pipe heatingsystem. Heating surfaces are plate and tubular body. The primary source of hot water is gasboiler. As a secondary source of alternative preparation with solar system.

This bachelor thesis focuses on design of heating and warm water heating of golf club. The theoretical part describes central heating by firewood and pellets. Combustion of fossil fuels in the energy sector is one of the largest sources of air pollution in the Czech Republic. This thesis describes the conversion of heat energy in coal power plant into electricity. It compares the combustion plants of solid fuel. It compares combustion of coal, biomass and solid alternative fuels. It analyzes the resulting pollution from the combustion of solid fuels and its impact on the environment. It also describes the use of cogeneration. There are mentioned the methods of disposal and elimination of harmful substances and waste products of solid fuels combustion and their use. It deals with a preview of the future of classical power engineering in the Czech Republic.
