A System for On-Line Driving School Trip Recording
Voneš, Jakub ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is the design and implementation of a client-server applications for collecting GPS data using a smartphone with Android OS. The system is used for real-time monitoring and recording vehicle’s movement on a server, where the data are adapted to the real road. This thesis is a continuation of the project DoAutoškoly.cz . The theoretical part of the thesis deals with GPS, real-time communication problems and the Android platform, including its application interface for GPS. In the next part of the thesis, this knowledge is used to design the whole system. The thesis continues with the implementation of a mobile application, the web module and the corresponding server application. The chapters continue to deal with real-time tracking and route editing. The last part is focused on testing and evaluation of the results.
Application for Team Collaboration
Chernenko, Vladimir ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This thesis deals with solving the problems of simplification of team collaboration, which relates to the communication among the team members and project planning, tasks and possible events, which are related to the projects. Based on a research and personal experience, a web application was designed, whose main advantages was simplicity in use, integration of already existing and frequently used applications and making the team communication easier. The first part of the thesis describes a design of the web application, the second part includes implementation and testing details.
Distributed multimedia service
Web Application for Collaborative Schedule Management
Novák, David ; Polčák, Libor (referee) ; Dolejška, Daniel (advisor)
This thesis addresses the development of a web application for collaborative schedule management for universities and other institutions. The application aims to implement a schedule editor that allows users to collaborate in real-time using the WebSocket protocol and automatically evaluates conflicts between lessons. Before creating the application itself, existing solutions in the field of collaborative and scheduling editors were studied. The solution of the company IS4U, with whom this thesis is being realized, was studied in the most detail. A design for its improvement was created using an ER diagram and wireframes. The implementation predominantly utilizes TypeScript. On the server side, Node.js runtime environment and the Express.js framework are utilized. The client is implemented using the Vue.js framework. The thesis also includes user testing of the application and considerations for future improvements.
