The aim of diploma thesis is occurrence of toxic and essential elements in vegetables and fruit, especially in fruity baby food. The diploma thesis also dedicates processing of vegetables and fruit for production of baby food. Attention is direct to monitoring of baby food quality in the analytical aspects and also to legislative that is in this area. Samples for analysis are prepared using microwave mineralization and ICP-MS for detection. This is described in the experimental part of the diploma thesis.
Comparison of Somatic Parameters of the Standard and BLW Methods of Introducing Complementary Food to 12 Months Old Infants

Introduction: The BLW method (Baby-Led Weaning) is an increasingly used method of introducing complementary nutrition to infants, in which the phase of feeding a puree with a spoon is completely omitted and larger pieces of food are immediately offered to the infants. There are concerns that children at BLW may cause worse thriving of them. Aims: The main aim of the work is to compare the somatic parameters of 12 months old infants depending on the method of feeding. The partial goals are to find out how much information parents have about the BLW method and what their child's nutrition looks like in their first year of life. Methods: Retrospective observational research was carried out by means of a questionnaire survey among parents of toddlers aged from the end of the 12th month to the end of the 18th month. The set consisted of 186 respondents for the evaluation of general information about the child's nutrition. Somatic parameters (head circumference, length/height, weight and weight/length [height] ratio at 12 months) were evaluated in a set of 153 respondents, the data were obtained from the child's health card. Postnatal nutrition to 1 year.

My bachelor thesis focuses on postnatal nutrition within the first year. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part focuses on the different nutritional values of milk nutrition, breast feeding, and its positive impact on child development, moreover on the issue of alternative milk substitutes and the introduction of various kinds of complementary feeding. The practical part is devoted to the application of theoretical knowledge into practice. I am evaluating and processing questionnaire that I created for this purpose. I identify the duration of breastfeeding in particular, introduction of various baby foods and a selection of infant milk substitutes. Inbound marketing of Nestlé in the area of infant formula

This master's thesis deals with inbound marketing of Nestlé in the area of infant formula. Its aim is to determine whether inbound marketing is a suitable tool for infant formula promotion which is strongly regulated. The thesis is based on a comprehensive analysis of the area of infant formula and analysis of inbound marketing strategy of one of the most dominant companies on the market, Nestlé. In the beginning, attention is focused on important milestones of the development of infant formula and on a case which caused an important change in the promotion of infant formula, Nestlé boycott. The following section deals with the supervision and marketing regulation both in international and the European law. The final chapter of the first part emphasizes on philosophy of inbound marketing. The second part is introduced by outlining the current situation both on global and the Czech market of infant formula. Then, attention is focused on Nestlé. Its introduction is followed by analysis of company's inbound marketing strategy which is then evaluated. For this purpose, analysis of the effectiveness of marketing tools is made with regard to strategic goals of the company.

The use of nutritional problem in practice - infant nutrition

The thesis is about infant nutrition. The aim is to create a menu for infants replacement feeding. The work is divided into two parts. The first part will focus on nutritional problems in theory and in the second part of this problem we apply in practice, is necessary to observe the conditions and requirements of food, or energy value, the daily dose of protein, fat, fiber and carbohydrates. The work is also about optimization systems, specifically MS Excel Solver and modeling system Lingo.
