Kindergarten 21st century.
Bajerová, Anna-Marie ; Marek, Jiří (referee) ; Šindlar, Jiljí (advisor) ; Brzoň, Roman (advisor)
The basis of this bachelor thesis is an architectural study prepared in the subject AG034. The theme of the work is the design of a nursery school that will meet the requirements of the 21st century. The proposed building is located in the city district of Brno-Stránice. The lot is located on the outskirts of the Masaryk district, near the Square Míru. The site is part of the Cyrilomethodian Grammar School and this fact is taken into account. The terrain on the lot is sloped from west to east and the design uses the height difference of 7.1 metres to allow entry from three elevation levels. The main entrance is from the street in the west side of the property. The building can also be accessed through the campus itself, to which the nursery is affiliated. A new parking lot for parents and employees is proposed for the property, which includes 7 car stalls, including an immobile one. Around the house there are green areas, a playground with an artificial surface and a sports ground. The south side of the property consists of a stone wall, which is simultaneously a fence with a neighbouring property. The building has 2 upper floors and one underground level. The first above-ground floor contains the main operation of the nursery, the second above-ground floor acts as the main entrance and at the same time the facilities for the teachers and the underground floor is reserved for the operating part of the building such as TZB, warehouses and food preparation. The building is designed as a woodwork in combination with a masonry lower structure. The roof of the building above 1NP is designed as an operational vegetation roof. The second roof above 2NP is also a vegetation roof but without operation. I was inspired by dualism when I designed the building. The building is meant to be clean, functionalistic for passers-by, but for children it provides a reflection of their soul in the form of a "woozy" inner facade, which is also written into the interior itself.

Poláčková, Daniela ; Nespěšná Hamsíková, Magdaléna (advisor) ; Zlatohlávek, Martin (referee)
Bachelor thesis "Martinic palace in Prague during the ownership of George Bořita of Martinic and his follower Jaroslav Bořita of Martinic. Its architectural form and decoration" is based on the Martinic palace in the Hradčany square during the ownerships of George Bořita of Martinic and Jaroslav Bořita of Martinic. At the beginning you can find the list of the owners, who owned the palace, during this there appeared important changes not only architectural, but also in decoration. The first cheapter is devoted to the list of the owners who owned the palace. The next cheapter is about the architectural appearance of the palace, that is about the inside and outside. There is also a cheapter, devoted to the Martinic family, the first of all about the two owners of the palace, which where pround to be discendents of this family. They are George Bořita of Martinic and Jaroslav Bořita of Martinic, who made important changes of the palace. Among them also sgraffitos on the main frontage in the direction of Kanovnická street. There are elaborated Joseph stories. Another sgraffitos was used on two walls of yards frontage, where you can see Samson's deeds and Hercules acts. We must not forget the sgraffito on the southern wing of southern wall, where is perhaps the old story. Because of the damage we cannot say,...
The Iconographic Program of coffered ceiling in Golden hall at the state castle Telč
Brychtová, Šárka ; Zlatohlávek, Martin (advisor) ; Konečný, Lubomír (referee)
5 Abstract The work provides a factual description, thematic description and semantic analysis of the coffered ceiling in the Golden Hall at the State Telč Castle in Telč, including the historical context of its making. The ceiling consists of thirty coffers, each depicting one figure. The original graphic templates have been found for fourteen coffers. The depicted figures were identified in additional nine coffers based on the analysis of the represented attributes of those figures, but the meaning of the remaining seven coffers remains to be unclear. Based on identifying the figures in the majority of the coffers, the work builds two main, partially overlapping thematic courses. The first thematic course focuses on love between human beings and love as a part of Christian faith. The second thematic course focuses on moralistic themes, warning against moral lapses and particularly against the improper use of wealth. One chapter in the work focuses on probable authorship of the coffered ceiling and on foreign influences, but a definitive satisfying answer to these questions has not been found. Keywords coffered ceiling, iconographic program, graphic patterns, Golden hall, castle, Telč

Wood carving decorations in the interiors of the castle Hluboká and their context in Bohemia and Moravia
KLIMEŠOVÁ, Michaela
This bachelor thesis presents a detailed study of wood carving development in the interior of the chateau Hluboká nad Vltavou. These woodcarvings were made during 19th century, between the years 1838-1871. Artwork drafts for these carvings were made by the Viennese sculptor František Schroth, along with Franz Beer. Carving work itself was realized by Jan Vondruška, Jakub Zeiner, Jan Pták, and more. The work is largely focused on the architect's influence on woodcarvings, as well as their own carving and their relationship to the overall interior decoration including inlaid parquets. An integral part of the theicsis is a written selective catalog of discussed rooms in the chateau Hluboká, including rooms of compared castles - Lednice and Sychrov. The second and main subject of the study is specially comparison of interior woodcarvings in the castle Hluboká to interior woodcarvings in castles Lednice and Sychrov.
