Čermák, Michal ; Perič, Tomáš (advisor) ; Kaplan, Aleš (referee)
Title: Testing of endurance, speed and strength abilities of regional football academy players Objectives: The topic of this bachelor thesis was the testing and subsequent comparison of endurance, speed and strength abilities in players of the Regional Football Academy. This thesis aimed to determine if the differences in performance between the Regional Football Academies involved in this work were significant. Furthermore, this thesis compared the possible differences in the performance of each category. The final comparison that the author addressed was to compare the motor testing results of the individual football positions with each other and whether these results showed significant differences. Methods: The methods that were used within the bachelor thesis were the methods of comparison of the above mentioned files. This comparison was done using statistical methods and tests. These methods and tests included the Koglomoror - Smirmov test, which determined the normality of the population under study. Furthermore, T - tests and Mann Whitney U - tests were used. These tests determined whether the differences in the measured values were statistically significant or not within the population of interest. Results: The result of this work is a comparison of the Regional Football Academies of the...

Frimel, Tomáš ; Perič, Tomáš (advisor) ; Slavíček, Tobiáš (referee)
Title: Analysis of the Level of Puck Control in Ice Hockey in the U14 and U15 Category Objectives: The main objective of this thesis was to analyse the level of puck control of ice hockey players in the U14 and U15 categories. The steps to achieve this objective consisted of conducting field testing in selected ice hockey clubs, implementing a detailed analysis of the data obtained through this testing, identifying differences between the categories and determining standards in the area of puck control. Methods: The methods of analysis, comparison and synthesis were used in the bachelor thesis. The method of observation and field testing was used in the implementation of the testing of the puck control levels. The method of analysis, comparison and synthesis was applied in the analysis and interpretation of data obtained through field testing. Results: A total of 257 U14 and U15 players from 10 different clubs took part in the testing of the puck control level, one of which was a foreign club (Norway). The average level of puck control of the U15 category was significantly higher (x =7.8) than that of the U14 category (x =5.6). The standard for the U14 category was to achieve item number 6, for the U15 category item number 9. Clubs with Czech Ice Hockey Academy status achieved 4 more test items in...
Effect of small side games and runs on performance in sprints and agility in soccer players.

Title: Influence of small side games and runs on sprint performance and agility in football players. Purpose: The aim of the thesis is to find out the influence of selected movement interventions (small side games versus runs) on sprint performance and agility in elite football players in U14 category during the preseason period. Methods: The 30-meter Sprint was used to rate speed-strength performance. Players have executed 2 sprints at 30m. Sprint time was measured at 5, 10 and 30m. Agility tests included: test 505 and three-step test. Players also have executed 2 tries (one of each leg). A set of photocells (Alge Timing GmbH, Lustenau, Austria) was used to measure the time of all tests. Results: Both groups significantly improved in the three-step test (p <0.05; r> 0.5). The SSG group, after a two-month intervention, significantly deteriorated in the sprint to 5, 10 and 30m (r = 0.38 - 0.69). The race group did not significantly improve in sprints at 5, 10 and 30m. In the agility test, we saw a significant improvement only in the Run groups and only on the left leg (r = 0.42). Based on the findings, we believe that the training units of the linear speed and speed with the change of direction maintain the level of player's speed during the season. Therefore, I recommend that they should appear in...
