Detekce objektu s využitím hloubkových dat
Valko, Marek ; Hradiš, Michal (referee) ; Musil, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis addresses the detection of objects in images using depth data. The goal was to select appropriate deep learning methods and experimentally verify them on relevant datasets. The thesis begins with an overview of basic techniques for detecting objects in images and depth data, utilizing selected datasets NYU Depth v2 and Washington RGB-D to test modified YOLOv5 and YOLOv8 models, adapted for effective processing of RGB-D data. The experiments explored various representations of depth information and analyzed how the integration of depth data enhances the performance of these models. The results demonstrated significant improvements in mAP metrics compared to traditional models that use only RGB data. The integration of depth data thus allowed for more accurate and reliable object detection results.

Calculation of thermodynamics of small engine with thrust up to 1 kN which is in modern day used in practice drones or ballistic missiles will be conducted. Given initial parameters compressor selected is of radial type. Calculation of radial compressor and its verification in EES software. Issue of combustion chambers is presented and calculation of chamber balance is carried out. Computation of turbine and blading layout. Proposal of jet for expansion into atmosphere and engine thrust. Comparison of contemporary projects researching hydrogen propulsion in aerospace with their conventional counterparts and assessing their feasibility compared to other types of renewable fuels.
In an Apartment in a small town, Mikulov
Solár, Michal ; Kozelský, Tomáš (referee) ; Hora, Jan (advisor)
The concept is based on the historical development of the plot and the city as such. Historically, the area has been defined by self-help and without clearly specified dogmatic guidelines. It is thanks to this that the city is enriched with moments that do not fulfill only the aesthetic or spiritual, but also the functional nature of the city. The moment of surprise and certain visas enriches the interior of the yard as well as the city. At first glance, such annoying spaces have a certain quality, caused by the play of light or the overall concept of space. An important feature of the object is the moment of surprise from the perceived space. The transition from a clearly defined ground floor to the rear, at first glance, irrational courtyard is enhanced by a passage, which also refers to the typical division of the small town house. ARCHITECTURAL SOLUTION The principle of layering of individual spaces clearly reflects the moments of surprise. By specific fragmentation of the building, a character that resembles rather a family house as a residential object, spaces of different quality and utilization are created. The lower dwellings have a spatially and optically separated garden from the total mass, with the top terrace being terraces which are optically linked to the courtyard, but are not accessible to the public. The apartments in the attic have mostly urban character. This creates the principle of co-existence, which is typical of the whole area of the city. The layering is evident in the distribution of flats with different connections to gardens and terraces as well as the variety of housing units. The spirit of the place is a standing cellar that reflects the historical transformation of the parcel and is a symbol of the locality.
Innovation of the laboratory stand Water jet
Šimůnek, Petr ; Rudolf, Pavel (referee) ; Hudec, Martin (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the design of a new experimental device for measuring the force of a water jet on various shaped surfaces. The first part of the work is focused on the theory around the task. The second part deals with the parts of the device. And in the third part is carried out exemplary calculation.
Experimental verification of ejector and creation of mathematical model.
Strmiska, Michal ; Štigler, Jaroslav (referee) ; Habán, Vladimír (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the area of ejectors. In the intoduction, an ejector is classed as an hydraulic machine. There is also an introduction of the principle and application of this machine there. The next part describes two different ways of calculation and there is a suggestion how to get characteristics, that were achieved by calculation in MS Excel, projected. The purpose of this diploma thesis is to confront this mathematical model with the experiment done in school laboratory at Kaplan department of hydraulic machines. The description of this experiment and the evaluation procedure of measured values is described in the final part of this diploma thesis.
Waterjet cutting of material
Veselý, Radek ; Foldyna, Josef (referee) ; Habán, Vladimír (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes principles of utilization of high-speed liquid jet for material machining. In the first part, basic classification of liquid jets and brief description of devices for generating high pressure liquid is presented. Next, using of continuous jets is discussed. Main scope of this work is oriented at the use of so-called pulsed jets, especially at ultrasonically modulated ones. Break-up of ultrasonically modulated high-speed pulsed jet into single pulses, impact of such pulse on the surface of disintegrated material and subsequent erosion in the impact area are described. The comparison of efficiency of modulated and continual water jets is summarized in the last part of the thesis.
Influence of the wall roughness on discharge coefficient of orifice
Jinek, Josef ; Golík,, Pavel (referee) ; Zachoval, Zbyněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with the influence of the wall roughness on discharge coefficient of sharp-edged circular bottom orifice. It supposed to verify, summarize and extend knowledge of orifice discharge. Author of this thesis determine a discharge coefficient by measurement. Values of discharge coefficient were measured for roughness of the wall represented by different diameters of grains and these values were compared with available values published in specialized bibliography by different scientists. At the thesis end was made a summary evaluation.
An equipment for PET filament producing for 3D printing usage
Kotačka, Petr ; Knoflíček, Radek (referee) ; Kočiš, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of equipment for the production of PET termoplastic fibre to be used in 3D printing by means of FDM method. Concise survey of plastics processing methods is presented herein, furthermore, structural design of equipment with necessary engineering calculations is included as well. Drawing documents with the total economic evaluation is a part of this thesis too.
Face Identification
Částek, Petr ; Jaša, Petr (referee) ; Chmelař, Petr (advisor)
This document is trying to introduce the reader with issues of identifying the face connected with miscellaneous scanning technologies and enviroments. Inside this document there are mentioned some possibilities of creation unique print of a face so that there would be denied unwanted effects of enviroment and the identification of persons would be possible.
Discharge coefficient of dimensionally small sharp-edged circular orifices
Jinek, Josef ; Veselý, Jaroslav (referee) ; Zachoval, Zbyněk (advisor)
This thesis deal with the determination of discharge coefficient of sharp-edged circular orifice in the bottom. Thesis is supposed to deepen knowledge of this subject and the main goal is to define discharge coefficient based on the done experiment. This measurement set values of coefficient for different orifice diameters and these values were compared with values published in specialized bibliography by different scientists. At the thesis end was made a summary thesis evaluation.
