On the didacticization of interjections and onomatopoeias in the French language

in English This master's thesis focuses on the insufficient inclusion of interjections in the teaching of French and aims to introduce new approaches to incorporate them into textbooks and teaching materials. The theoretical part of the thesis explores interjections as a part of speech, their phonological anomalies, and their roles in texts. Emphasis is placed on researching and analyzing interjections in various textual contexts, providing a comprehensive perspective on interjections and emphasizing their importance in the French language. The practical part of the thesis is dedicated to the creation of various exercises and activities that serve as inspiration for French language teachers. These activities are designed with consideration for different age groups and student levels to ensure effective engagement and the development of interjection- related skills. The proposed activities include project tasks, creating dialogues, and creative writing. The aim of these activities is to promote active communication, understanding, and expression using interjections, thereby enriching students' language skills. Onomatopoeic Words in the Present-day French - a Contrastive Corpus Study

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to define the concept of onomatopoeic word in the context of its phonological, morphological, syntactic and semantic specifics. Subsequently, the author will briefly discuss topics related to the onomatopoeia - the question of the linguistic sign, the principle of arbitrariness and motivation, interjections, sound symbolism and ideophones. The findings and hypotheses from the theoretical part of the thesis will be verified in the practical part through the analysis of specific Czech and French onomatopoeic expressions.

English abstract: Title of the thesis: Semiotic analysis of the text concentrated on asymmetry of linguistic sing Keywords: semiotics, linguistic sign, semiotic analysis, asymmetry of linguistic sign, myth, denotation, connotation Abstract: The objective of this thesis is to show how the linguistic sign functions in practice and what is its real meaning in the context of communication. This process is based on semiotic analysis of illustration of the artistic literature. In its theoretical part an elementary terminology and historical pillars of formation and developement of semiotics such as an equal humanistic science are presented. In the practical part we will demonstrate, thanks to the semiotic analysis of myth, how the linguistic sign functions within the communication and the cultural context.
