Assessment of the effectiveness of selected herbicides on weeds in crops of spring wheat
KAŠÍK, Ladislav
This thesis focuses on assessing the effectiveness of selected herbicides for spring wheat protection against most occurring dicotyledonous weeds. To verify the effectiveness of selected herbicides was small plot trial on the Farm Kašík, Blanné . The most frequent weeds were (Atriplex patula L., Capsella bursa - pastoris L., Stellaria media L., Thlaspi arvense L. and Tripleurospermum inodorum L.). In an attempt were applied four herbicides (MUSTANG FORTE, Sekator OD, Basagran Super , tank mix glean 75 WG + Dicopur M 750) at two different doses (the minimum and maximum doses recommended by the manufacturers). Effectiveness were evaluated in four measurements with the percentage of subjective estimation methods .
Yield formation of spring wheat
HOŠEK, Lukáš
The aim of my thesis is to assess the basic yield factors in the studied varieties of spring wheat. In the year 2013, there were in the framework of the test sown eight varieties (Brawura, Corso, Epos, Granny, Scirocco, Septima, Tercie and Vánek) at the land of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of South Bohemia in Ceske Budejovice. During the vegetation the number of plants, the number of sprouts and the number of spikes was recorded using a quarter tape. The data are in the results section and are converted to 1 m2. Additionally, the infestation by diseases, pests and overrunning with weeds was monitored. Before harvesting, the samples were taken for an evaluation of the number of grains per spike and HTZ. In the results section the main factors of the yield are statistically evaluated. These include the number of spikes, the number of grains per spike and HTZ. The study also evaluates the theoretical and the actual yield and the bulk density. The average number of ears in the varieties of spring wheat ranged from 411 (Corso) to 564 (Epos) ears per 1 m2. The number of grains per spike of individual varieties reached higher values, from 39,6 (Scirocco) to 57,8 (Corso). The average HTZ for the individual varieties was between 34,9 and 43,5 g. At finding of the real yield there were observed values from 3,4 t.ha-1 (Septima) to 4,5 t.ha-1 (Scirocco). The difference between the yield elements of were statistically significant all varieties.
Yield formation of spring wheat
BAŽANTOVÁ, Eva
The theme of these Thesis - Yield formation of spring wheat - presents a comparison of selected varieties of spring wheat, which are grown in the Czech Republic. The field trials were set up in 2012 on the experimental area of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. In four replications was planted eight varieties of spring wheat - Corso, Brawura, Aranka, Tercie, Granny, Scirocco, Septima a Vánek. Results of spring varieties were compared with a control winter variety Baletka. During the vegetation was monitored weeds, diseases and pests and evaluated the number of plants. In the final section are evaluated yields main elements - number of spike per square meter, number of grains per spike, thousand grain weight. The yield, theoretical yield, spike lenght and density is presented there too. The average number of spikes in spring varieties reached of 520 pieces per square meter and control winter varietiy reached 491 pieces per sqare meter. Number of grains per spike was average 45 pieces and control winter variety was 37 pieces. The average thousand grain weight of spring varieties amounted to 31,7 grams and was comparable with the results of control winter variety.
The comparison of winter and spring wheat quality
UHLÍKOVÁ, Jindřiška
The theme of this Bachelor's thesis is to compare the grain quality of winter and spring wheat varieties. There were a total of 16 selected varieties, 12 of winter- and 4 of spring. The experiment was conducted on the grounds of the South Bohemian University in Ceske Budejovice. The botanic characterization of wheat, the chemist of wheat grain and the quality parameters used for examination are mentioned in the introductury part . The first part of the experiment was focused on the control during the growth, the second part documents the analysis of examined samples (mass per hectolitre, N-substances, gluten, Zeleny test, falling number).
The comparison of winter and spring wheat yield ability
AMBROZOVÁ, Lucie
The theme of this Bachelor's thesis is to compare the productivity of the variety of winter and spring wheat. This report deals with the earning capacity of selected winter and spring wheat varieties. There were a total of eight selected varieties, 4 of winter- and 4 of spring. The experiment was conducted on the grounds of the South Bohemian University in Ceske Budejovice. The first part of the experiment was focused on the control during the growth, the second part documents the analysis of examined samples (ear length, number of grains per ear, weight of thousand grains and the volume density).
