Evaluation of ride comfort by experimental methods
Roleček, Jaroslav ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Suchý, Jan (advisor)
Bachelor thesis focuses primarily on testing vehicles in terms of ride comfort. Describes the testing and the types of tests. It also describes the different variables that contribute to the quality of driving.
Experimental Identification of Road Profile
Baroš, Martin ; Vančura, Jan (referee) ; Hejtmánek, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses especially on a design of a way for evaluating roughness in road profile, which affects driving characteristics of a car and a ride. In the theoretical part of the thesis are mentioned the most used methods and tools for road roughness analysis in the world. For the purposes of this thesis an experimental measuring were undertaken in order to obtain data for the own design of a road profile analysing system.
Driving safety systems
Rektořík, Jiří ; Rozsíval, Jan (referee) ; Suchý, Jan (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on the description and measurement of characteristic variables that affects driving comfort. Driving comfort is closely related to driving safety. This thesis deals with measured quantities but also deals with comfort in the cab and optimally adjusting elements in the cab.
Multibody Model of Agricultural Tractor with Cab Suspension
Kadlec, Jakub ; Fojtášek, Jan (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
Diploma thesis is oriented at suspension of commercial vehicle and tractor cab. It describes current state-of-art suspension systems, methods of measuring and evaluating ride comfort. Developed multibody model of tractor is used to compare different suspension concepts and a sensitivity analysis of parameters related to ride comfort is made.
Driving comfort
Plánka, Jakub ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Vančura, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis describes characteristics of ride comfort. Defines methods to evaluate ride comfort and proposes appropriate value for measurement. Thesis Describes parts of vehicle which contributes to overall driving comfort and formulates factors affecting vehicle in motion.
Vehicle Bumstops and Reboundstops
Mikeš, Josef ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
The aim of this master’s thesis is to create a mathematical description of the functioning of vehicle suspension stops. There are two basic types of suspension stops, mechanical and hydraulic. The mechanical one accumulates energy at the end of the suspension stroke, The hydraulic one converts the residual energy into heat. In order to understand the problem of stops, research on the function and current trends in the design of stops is carried out in the first part of the thesis. This work includes an investigation of the effect of stop positioning and stop characteristics on vehicle behaviour. The characterization was investigated by changing of the force ramp intensity and adjusting the global stiffness of the stops. By varying the onset of action of the hydraulic and mechanical stops, there is a position in which the driving characteristics of the car are improved. It is advantageous to use this position in the design of the stops. The result of comparing the different options is a design of suspension stops for a particular vehicle. Due to the action of the hydraulic stop, the damping oil is heated, but by checking the dissipated energy it can be concluded that this heating is quite minimal.
