Personality Typologies and Social Work

The aim of this thesis is to describe the various typologies of the clients and in connection with it to define the possible strategies of attitude to these clients, which can be used by social worker. The method used in this thesis is research and study of literature relevant to the chosen topic. The work is conceived as purely theoretical. The first chapter describes personality, temperament and factors that affect the personality formation. The second chapter focuses on the importance of knowledge of personality typology for social work. There is also a historical excursion and description of the following personality typology: according to Hippocrates, Jung and MBTI typology. The third chapter lists the characteristics of extroverts and introverts, both adults and children. Appropriate strategies, which can be used by the social worker, when he works with the particular types of personality are outlined within each sub-chapter.
Possibilities of social network analysis based on the research of Facebook users' behaviour according to their temperament

Temperament is a determining factor of people's behaviour in everyday life. Does it show itself also online? Does introversial and extraversial behaviour in online networks differ? Some authors in their studies confirmed that introverts feel more secure in online networks and thus behave more like extraverts, similar effect have networks on behaviour of extraverts. Other authors proved empirically, that introversial users in virtual environment and online networks become more socially isolated and solitary. These studies were in principle conducted on American or Brittish colleges or universities, we have no similar research in Czech Republic. For this thesis, behaviour research and temperament identification questionnaire was filled up by 310 people of average age of 29 years, 2/3 were women, most of them live and work in Prague in media, marketing and public relations. Research results showed that 46% of users were present on Facebook for more than 2 years, extraverts actively participate in more networks, behaviour of introverts and extraverts on Facebook is really different as well as their way of using it, sometimes we can find very surprising details. The Behavior Change of the Preschool Child Depending on The Environment Change

The bachelor's thesis aims to draw attention to different children's behaviour connected with specific behavioural manifestations in response to environmental change. Its theoretical part deals with the characteristics of an open-air school from the beginning of its existence until the present time together with its educational programme. The next parts specify various kinds of environment and education and their impact on the behaviour and adaptation of a child. There are definitions of the individual factors which influence child's behaviour and those of various kinds of problem behaviour too. The practical part deals with a research study focusing on the differences in children's behaviour in their home nursery and that during their stay in an open-air school. The results refer to the fact that an open-air school has a positive effect on children's behaviour.
Personality types in teamwork

The aim of the Bachelor's Thesis is to analyse the opinions and attitudes to teamwork expressed by students of the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of Economics in Prague. The analysis focuses on detection of barriers perceived in teamwork and the preferences of students according to their division into two basic personality types -- introvert and extravert. The thesis consists of the theoretical and practical part. In theoretical part, basic terms related to personality and teamwork are explained. The practical part focuses on the research carried out by quantitative analysis based on the data collected by a questionnaire. At the conclusion, recommendations for the students working in teams as well as for teachers using teamwork as the method of teaching are designed.

The bachelor thesis is dedicated to burnout and its relation to personal and social qualities of nursery school teachers. The theoretical part describes phases, causes and displays of burnout, possibitilies of prevention and treatment. It dealswith differences in personal qualities, especially in connection with the ability to face stress and preassure and deal with them effectively. It also points out the specifics of the work at nursery schools. The practical part contains the results of the questionnaire sutvey of nursery school teachers in Tábor and its vicinity. The aim is to find out if personal and social qualities are linked with burnout and to what extent.
