A Patch Promises
Olgin, Dmitrii ; Adamec, Jakub (referee) ; Janů, Valentýna (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of the moment of encountering something weird or eerie. Its starting point is the consideration of artistic strategies of processing the experience of such a situation (disenchantment and highlighting). At the core of the work is an artistic processing of the reflection on the possibilities of the once displaced returning in the form of a temporary intervention into a non-gallery space in which a subversive game between wall, hole and patch is played out.
Surface problem-solving strategies of primary school students in solving word problems and activities leading to their overcoming
Brejchová, Eva ; Havlíčková, Radka (advisor) ; Kvaszová, Milena (referee)
The thesis focuses on the process of solving word problems. The theoretical part defines the typology of word problems, the phases of solving a word problem, and the description of surface solving strategies. The practical part sets goals: 1. to map the difficulties students face when solving word problems and 2. to design, implement, and evaluate activities that could help students reduce these difficulties. The core of the work is action research conducted by a classroom teacher with third-grade students. The research is divided into two phases. The first phase includes tasks: 1. to identify the types of problems that cause difficulties for students, i.e., problems with a low overall success rate of solution, 2. to determine representatives of students with characteristic areas of difficulty. The selected types of problems will be assigned to students in various forms in the second phase of the research with the goal of implementing and subsequently evaluating the interventions mentioned below. The selection of student representatives on whom I focused the intervention activities in the second phase was carried out based on observations of all students solving word problems, analysis of their written solutions, reflections, and short semi-structured interviews. The interventions are designed to...
The process s of adaptation of preschool children with ASD in kindergartens
FINKOVÁ, Iveta
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyse how children with autism spectrum disorder adapt in different situations, how they manage the adaptation process as such and at the same time to find possibilities that can help teachers and parents during further adaptation. In order to achieve the given goal, I have chosen two methods, which are the method of observation and an interview with parents/educators. The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis is divided into 7 chapters in which I have presented the information I have obtained from books and online sources. The practical part describes the progress of both methods and also the answers to the chosen areas that were created to process the interviews. It then contains a conclusion and summary of the results. The results show that the most important thing for adaptation is the individual approach, patience, and most importantly communication between the parent and the teacher, because that makes it much easier to get closer to the child, understand him/her and then figure out what approach to choose in order to get the best result and progress for the child. At the same time, it is important not to put much pressure on the child during the adaptation process and to let the child get used to it and be happy, because if we put demands on the child from the beginning, it can be stressful for the child and then he or she.
No Particular Title
Borovková, Magdalena ; Othová, Markéta (referee) ; Klímová, Barbora (advisor)
The topic of my work is space and its influence on our perception. I am interested in how this perception changes during time. I create small interventions that can remain overlooked as through they are on visible sites. The choice of particular interventions is based on my subjective experience with the location - which in this work is the building of our school. With my interventions, I intend to intensify the spectators consciousness of space and time - „here and now“ - and the complex perception the environment. Using photographic record, reflections on variuos surfaces, and point of view, I work with time and space. The main question for me was whether is there a way to „catch“ a moment and project it back into his site.

Why nobody wants anything from me.
Hurych, Martin ; Dolanová,, Lenka (referee) ; Klímová, Barbora (advisor)
The work focuses on subjective experience in urban, public environments. I use the principle of material and non-material exchange as a device to establishing communication, sharing my own thoughts and experiences with strangers who want something from me. I create a sound work from open and immediate communication with others. The primary intention was to relativize subjective, diary notes and notes by letting them read on the street by people who approached me and said they wanted me to do something. Reflections and experiences of respondents were added to the text. All readings were recorded in the form of audio recording, which is further post-produced.
So the kids have place to be ashamed of us
Peřina, Jan ; Maršíková, Hana (referee) ; Mléčka, Jan (advisor)
The work aims to design an environmentally responsible school in a specific situation according to the innovative education principles focused on forest schools. The work reacts to the absence of forest schools in the Kroměříž region and offers an alternative to regular education systems and the regular appearance of the schools. The proposal is applied in Kroměříž. I design interventions in fore locations with different spatial characteristics. The interventions evolve existing features and characteristics of the location or make the accessible. Those interventions should be used not only for education but also for the locals.
Mind Pollution
Krausová, Zuzana ; Knoflíček, Tomáš (referee) ; Klodová, Lenka (advisor)
In my work I deal with parallel sounds of engine and beast. I analyzed the sounds of different beasts and searched for those that are as close as the sounds of the engine. As a representative of engine sound, I chose a motorbike, because the character of the beast corresponds with its character. I decided to turn the sound of the engine to the sounds of the beast, so that they responded to the rotation of the gas and whimpered while driving. I use the sounds of a tiger, alligator, cheetah, leopard, lion, and cats. Part of the thesis is interventions in the public space using a sound-engineered motorcycle.
