This thesis deals with the basic principles of the functioning of the technology of generative design, using the method of topology optimization and finding their potential with the capabilities of the application in the field of furniture design. The main outcome is a functional prototype of a low relaxing chair, which specific construction is designed using the method of topology optimization.

The thesis deals with interior design and furnishing of pediatric surgery waiting room and design of atypical elements. The thesis is divided into two parts in the first of which maps the history, market, and analyzes the current status of the applicants, including a questionnaire survey. In the second practical part is presented the concept of new solu-tion and elaborated interior design including visualization and technical solution.

This bachelor thesis introduces an interior design proposal of a single room in the A-Austerlitz hotel. The theoretical part of this work deals with the history and contemporary issues of accommodation facilities in the Czech Republic, their classification and requirements that should be met in the given space. Another part of the thesis is an analysis of the room’s original state and its shortcomings. Based on the obtained information and analyzes is then the practical part. It proposes a new design of the chosen hotel room, which should better fit in the overall concept of the hotel. The final draft is presented using 3D visualizations.
