Actual trends in interactive learning in higher secondary education

The diploma thesis maps interactive teaching in high school as a actual phenomenon. The aim of the thesis is to understand the current situation within the interactive teaching and to introduce possibilities how to realize the teaching with the elements of interactivity. The theoretical part describes various views of interactivity and its wildcards. This results in the characteristic elements of interactive teaching and the benefits that interactive teaching brings. The thesis also introduces current digital technologies that can be used in school education. It specifies what the specific technologies can be used for, what their advantages and disadvantages are. In the empirical part, the thesis examines one secondary school in Prague Hostivař for a closer understanding of the current situation of interactive teaching. This is done by using a questionnaire survey. The part of the empirical part is the design and implementation of teaching activities using interactivity, which are based on the theoretical basis and information found by the research. The activities are carried out directly in the classroom and subsequently evaluated by the pupils themselves. Use of the tablet in an interactive teaching

This thesis deals with the problematic of the tablet usage in an interactive teaching. The first chapter is devoted to interactive teaching at all. The second and third chapters are dedicated to a detailed description of tablet category. Both parts explain functions, technical details and key features. The fourth and fifth chapter narrate how interactive whiteboards and electronic voting equipment might be used in classrooms and other education process. The following chapter six is related to the issues of connectivity between tablet and interactive whiteboard. The seventh part narrates software and tutorials suitable for the teaching process. The eighth part consists of exact and specific examples of lessons, where interactive elements were used. The last ninth chapter investigates the technical school equipment and their access to interactive teaching. The conclusion summarizes which goals and aims of the thesis were reached.

The first part is composed of theory of geometry, sumary basic geometrical concepts in subject-matter for elementary school, situate Math to educate programme and importance teaching with computer today. Educating Gifted Children and Specific Features of Teaching Foreign Languages to Gifted Children

This thesis concentrates on contexts and view-points, that should determinate the character of activities designed for gifted children in foreign languages classes. This work proposes some methods and ways that are convenient for gifted learners. It deals also with the characteristics of the teacher, who is able to conduct the gifted and the characteristics of the gifted in order to devise such activities that satisfy their special cognitive, emotional and social needs.
