The creation of materials with multimedia support focusing on teaching of languages

The thesis called ?The Creation of Materials with Multimedia Support Focusing on Teaching of Languages? deals with creation of educational materials which take advantages of available technical support (software, an interactive whiteboard, a personal computer, a projector, storage media etc.). It was necessary to find out and examine the created block of free educational materials from the internet to solve the submission of the thesis; on the basis of gained information to create the new educational block of materials which will be corresponding with the educational framework at the primary school and also with using of a cross curricular approach. The next aim of the thesis is also creating the methodology of the digital portfolio, which could be used by pupils during their studies on the storage media not only at the primary school. The expected utility was checked up in terms of university practice and also through the cooperation with primary school teachers. The benefit of the thesis should be the usable set of materials on the attached CD with the methodology for primary school teachers.
Usage of ICT in new forms and methods of teaching

This thesis is focused on the analysis and description of new forms of teaching. These are new forms of exploitation and application of ICT in teaching and e-learning environment. Use of multimedia data, virtual classrooms and other teaching resources in digital form that can be used in conventional teaching or as a teaching opportunity through self-study. The result of this work should be a comprehensive overview of new technologies that can be used in education.
Preparation of German language teacher for the work with interactive board

This thesis takes account of using IWB (interactive white board) in modern foreign language teaching, especially in German. In the theoretical part there will be a brief description of IWB possibilities: what software is the best in a particular situation and what are the limits of its use. The practical part will focus on effectiveness in using IWB and show what is necessary to be able to work with IWB effectively: creation of new exercise, slide and whole ?workbook?.
Word problems on the role of the primary school

The main object of my final work is creating worksheets for teaching ?Word problems? with the interactive whiteboard and using ICT (Information and Communication Technology) at a selected school. The thesis is divided into two parts, a theoretical and a practical part. The first part deals with the use of ICT and interactive whiteboards in teaching mathematics. I also mention the concept of a textbook, interactive textbook and my own comparing textbooks. The second part of my thesis contains a workbook I have prepared to my own support teaching on the interactive whiteboard this application and individual examples. Then I occupy myself with application worksheets in teaching pupils in the 9th year of primary school. In conclusion I gave results and of knowledge that I acquired during my teaching.
Using the Interactive Whiteboard in English Language Classes at Middle School Level

This diploma thesis is focused on using the interactive whiteboard in English language classes at middle school level. The theoretical part is focused on describing the interactive whiteboard, development and description of particular language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing) and language subskills (grammar, pronunciation). The practical part deals with a preparation of some English classes. From observation of the classes, from the interviews with teachers and the questionnaire among pupils I will make a conclusion for training which language skills and subskills it is good to use the interactive whiteboard.
Workbook proposal for teaching Mathematics at primary and secondary school, chosen chapters - The basics of statistics

The main object of my final work is creating worksheets for teaching mathematics unit {\clqq}The basics of statistics{\crqq} using the interactive whiteboard and a computer and to find out how interactive teaching helps in the comprehensive educational process. The work is divided into three parts. In the first part I occupy myself with motivation theory and various stimulating teaching methods, especially with the design method. In the second part I analysed the current state of use computers and interactive whiteboards in teaching mathematics. The third practical part is consists of worksheets for the interactive whiteboard, that I created and the project. Then I occupy myself with application worksheets in teaching pupils in the second year of the secondary vocational school and I compare it with classic teaching. In conclusion I gave results and pieces of knowledge that I acquired during this teaching.
Teaching vocabulary through the interactive whiteboard

The aim of this diploma thesis is to prepare and try to present and practise vocabulary in practice using a interactive whiteboard. Vocabulary topics are based on RVP (FEP) and designed for 6th grade of elementary school. A textbook Way to Win 6 is used as a source and basic material for the topics. This textbook comes precisely from RVP (FEP). I have prepared presentations and practices on the basis of professional literature which are methodically correct. These presentations and practices are connected with a meaning and a spoken and written form of each word. Pupils will be able to use this vocabulary actively after practising.
TEACHING OF SELECTED TOPICS IN MATHEMATICS FOR TEACHING WITH ZŠ interactive whiteboard - Numerical FIELDS

Annotation In my dissertation I deal with whole numbers and how to teach them using a computer and the interactive whiteboard. The dissertation is divided into three parts: a theoretical one, a questionnaire quest an a practical part. In the first part, which is devoted to theory, I examine teaching principles and the way of testing students´ knowledge, skills and learnig habits. In addition, I also examine possibilities for using a computer in the lessons focused on work with the interactive whiteboard. Part 2 provides my own questionnaire guest which I carried out in selected elementary schools. Its objective was to find out about the presence and use of interactive whiteboards as well as teachers´experience when using this teaching aid. Part 3 {--} a practical one {--} comprises worksheets prepared by me for the interactive board and shows their usage in teaching lessons in the seventh form of elementary school. Futher I present the findings which I gained when teaching my own lessons.

My thesis is focused on using ICT (Information and Communication Technology) for teaching about percentage and axial symmetry. Specifically I am using an interactive whiteboard to support my teaching. The thesis is divided into two parts, a theoretical and a practical part. The first part is looking into various teaching methods, use of ICT and the interactive whiteboard in teaching in general. The second part of my thesis contains a workbook I have prepared to support my teaching on the interactive whiteboard and the application of the workbook during lessons for the students on secondary school. I have concluded my thesis with evaluation of my teaching methods and reflective practice.

The thesis called ``Employing Interactive Whiteboard Effectively in German Lessons at Basic School{\crqq} introduces a modern gadget {--} an interactive whiteboard {--} and the possibilities of it´s usage in German classes at basic school. Technological development has progressed and interactive whiteboards have brought new teaching methods. In the theoretical part producers and types of interactive whiteboards and their accessories are mentioned. Reference to interactive textbooks, portals and materials and thein availibility on-line are described. The service instructions should ease the first encounter with an interactive whiteboard. The aims of this thesis are to find out if it is possilble to use an interactive whiteboard while teaching effectively and what the benefit of it´s usage is.
