Proposal for Implementation of the Project in the Society TOROLA Design Ltd.
Jakimov, Jan ; Kocián, Ladislav (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of business environment of the TOROLA design Ltd. On the basis of established information a concept and options for project execution of production and distribution of the electronic system for „Smart houses“ will be configured. This project will make extending the range of products and services possible the company and it will help to improve its financial situation.
The technique of smart school buildings
Drábková, Helena ; Mauder, Tomáš (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis briefly discusses about regulation of energy consumption in buildings with specialization on building intelligent systems and its application at schools. It briefly characterizes regulation of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and lighting and its integration into centralized control component. Thesis discusses about systems from a few producers, short description of economic operation, a vision of these systems into the future and examples of implemented installations.
New laboratory practices with bus control system Foxtrot
Matouš, Milan ; Kubec, Jindřich (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
The bachelors thesis deals with laboratory exercises based on wiring system created by Foxtrot Company Teco. In the first part, the work briefly introduces the reader with issues of dealing with intelligent systems for houses, properties, topology and last but not least history of such systems. The following chapter involves a characteristic information regarding the abovementioned Foxtrot system – namely composition, function and communication. In order to ensure that the laboratory exercises are feasible a construction of laboratory boards was carried out and. The next sections of the thesis involve process of construction of such laboratory boards, description of all used components and the entire budget. The laboratory exercises are created in the Mosaic software. How to initially set up the software and certain basic information regarding its properties is contained within another chapter. The uppermost parts of the thesis are two laboratory tasks. The first one solves a programming of blinds, heating, cooling and switching of wireless buttons RFox. The other laboratory task aims to create circuits for switching and dimming channels of RGB LED strips which are controlled via the website.
Multi-Agent and Optimalisation Methods for Stealth Games
Láncoš, Jan ; Vídeňský, František (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the opponents' behaviour in stealth-based video games. It's main focus is the credibility of said behaviour in comparison to the opponents' real life counterparts and the overall immersiveness of the experience. The thesis describes the usage of the A* algorithm for dynamic pathfinding in a two-dimensional space. Furthermore it describes the opponents' patrolling system, their ability to detect the player's presence and also their ability to cooperate and communicate while trying to chase the player down. One playable level demonstrating the described behaviour has also been created as part of this thesis using the C++ language. The thesis can be used as an inspiration for anyone interested in making their own intelligent systems for computer games of a similar type.

Epistemic Limits of (Super)intelligent Systems
Wiedermann, Jiří
Based on epistemic approach to computations we present a new perspective on intelligence. Computations will be seen as processes generating knowledge over the given knowledge domain in accordance with the respective knowledge theory. In this context intelligence will be seen as an ability to gain information and transform it to knowledge used for problem solving. The main result of the paper states that as long as the epistemic domain is finite and fixed then intelligent systems with so-called self-improving theories can be designed which soon on later will reach a state of knowledge about the underlying domain which cannot be improved any further. The system will reach the limits of its own intelligence.
