Implementation of Communication Middleware in JAVA ME
Martinák, Jan ; Martínek, Tomáš (referee) ; Kořenek, Jan (advisor)
In almost each enterprise there is a software support for business processes. With a growing number of the applications there is an increasing demand to integrate those applications in order to have an effectively working environment, which generates profit. In enterprise applications integration there are few principles, each with their own advantages and disadvantages. However, the message-oriented middleware layer proves to be the best solution to many integration scenarios. This work deals with an enterprise of applications running on multifunction embedded office devices based on Java ME platform, and introduces an in-house developed communication middleware layer to integrate those applications. The resulting software component applies principles of messaging in a printing management SOA environment to communicate with a print server using a designed set of messages.

Integration of Applications in Terms of Telecommunications Operator
Vilímek, Josef ; Chlapek, Dušan (advisor) ; Wudy, David (referee)
This work deals with application integration in telecommunications companies. It concerns the areas of project management, software development, enterprise architecture and system integration. The theoretical part is verified in a real practical project that was realized in cooperation with a major telecommunications company operating in the Czech Republic. The aim of this work is to synthesize available information relating to application integration and apply this knowledge within the telecommunications company. Another aim is to map the current methodology that can be used in integration projects and to compare various approaches to the methodology. The final objective is to verify the theoretical knowledge in real projects realized in cooperation with the telecommunications operator. This objective involves an analysis of the current state of the integration system and to realize the initial phase of the project according to the chosen methodology. Objectives are met by systematic synthesis of information from available resources and by supplementing author's knowledge and practical experience. The contribution of this work lies in the summary of the basic theory of application integration and its subsequent integration into telecommunications business. Another contribution is the explana-tion of the development of a new version of OptiNet, realized for a telecommunications operator, including activities defined in the selected methodology.
Comparison of tools for application's integration
Kmínek, Jiří ; Chlapek, Dušan (advisor) ; Chocholatý, Drahomír (referee)
In this diploma thesis, I focus on the application integration. Main goal of this thesis is comparison of integration platforms of the biggest vendors on the market, there are products of companies Microsoft, IBM, Oracle and SAP. I compare these products according criteria, which I had chosen. I use mainly own experiences with the products to achieve a goal. These products I compare with respect to general, technological and possibility of using point of view. My work can be as a source for decision, which of the integration platforms is optimal to use. Then I describe one of them - Microsoft Biztalk Server with simple example. The next goal of this work is to summarize the theory of application integration, where I describe the possibilities of integration's application from the simplest till the most complicated. The next goal of this work is making a methodology in Biztalk Server, which will contain concrete solutions and techniques in different situations. This methodology can help developers and analysts to make better proposals, more convenient solutions and beware of needless problems.
