Information Support for Patients with Multiple Sclerosis in the Czech Republic

This bachelor thesis discusses information support of patients with multiple sclerosis, their families and the public in the Czech Republic. The first part of the thesis describes the disease multiple sclerosis itself and depicts the development of information support in the Czech Republic in comparison with the development in the world. It also presents various Czech organizations that deal with this disease, and their activities, including evaluation of the methods and extent of information that these organizations provide. The second part of my thesis contains an analysis of the level of information support according to several factors. I solved the selected topic using text analysis. The result is a comprehensive description of Czech organizations (MS Centre, Unie Roska, etc.) and their activities, which benefits not only the patients with this disease.
