A Draft of a Corporate Financial Plan

This master’s thesis is focused on a Draft of a Corporate Financial Plan for industrial company P-D Refractories CZ a.s. for years 2019 to 2022. First chapter of this master’s thesis is oriented in goals, methods and approaches of this thesis. Next part is aiming at theoretical solution for financial planning. Third chapter contains information about analyzed company, application of selected methods of strategic analysis and financial analysis including evaluation of the state of company and detection of potential deficiencies. Last chapter of this thesis is focused on suggestion, formation and evaluation of the financial plan for P-D Refractories CZ a.s. for next four years.

Analysis of Company by Selective Methods

This thesis is focused on the analysis by means of appropriate analytical methods. The theoretical part defines the content of the concepts and describes selected methods for its measurement and evaluation of factors placed upon it. The practical part applies the selected method for enterprise DSB EURO ltd. In conclusion summarizes the lessons learned and proposed measures for the future development of the company.

Management of industrial companies with the head ofice in České Budějovice in 2010

This bachelor thesis deals both with analysis and synthesis of financial indicators of industrial companies in 2010. Basic criteria for picking companies in the list are: the number of empolyees must be 20 or higher and the head office must be situated in České Budějovice. Data about financial management are taken from final accounts, consisting of balance sheet and profit and loss account. This thesis takes emphasis on following indicators: turnover, total profit, value added and personal expenses of the company. Last indicator refers to the nuber of employees. The objective of this work is to elaborate an overview about financial management of chosen companies in order to compare them with each other.

Metrics Model In Engigeering Company And Its Initial Implementation in Business Intelligence tools

This thesis deals with possibilities of strategic measurement of performance in Czech industrial firm and application of distinguished metrics using Business Intelligence tools. In particular it is a firm called Linde Pohony s.r.o. that produces axes and half axes for forklifts. This thesis is based on contemporary information about strategic performance management and its tools. The main aim of this thesis is to demonstrate possibilities of using Business Intelligence in order to measure key performance metrics. Microsoft's SQL Server 2005 with its Analysis and Integration services are used to prove it. It was necessary to create model of metrics at first. First part of the thesis deals with several ways and methods how to measure firm's performance. Then a proper method to measure performance is chosen. In following chapters ways how Business Intelligence tools can contribute to industrial firms are discussed. Then the real implementation of few metrics is described following with an outline of firm's software architecture. Main contribution of this thesis is particularly in demonstrating power of Business Intelligence tools when they are used along with Balanced Scorecard methodics in small or medium sized Czech industrial firm. Also Linde Pohony s.r.o. can profit from this work -- considering that many administrative tasks are much easier and faster and management has much better view into their firm. Ekonomická analýza vybraného průmyslového podniku

Předmětem diplomové práce je zpracování ekonomické analýzy vybraného průmyslové podniku s využitím nástrojů a metod finanční a ekonomické analýzy. Cílem práce je na základě detailní analýzy účetních a interních dat z let 2003 až 2008 prozkoumat vnitřní ekonomické závislosti, specifické pro daný podnik, a na základě toho co nejpřesněji predikovat stav na konci roku 2009. Součástí analýzy je také podrobné odvětvové srovnání podniku s využitím výpočtu hodnoty EVA pomocí metodiky pyramidového rozkladu ročního ukazatele EVA-INFA, jak ji používá Ministerstvo průmyslu a obchodu ČR. Kromě jiného je cílem práce doporučit vedení analyzovaného podniku opatření, která by vedla v roce 2009 a dalších letech ke zlepšení ukazatele EVA.
