Evaluation of the Financial Situation in the Firm and Proposals to its Improvement

The present bachelor thesis is focused on the financial situation of Solitea Czech Republic, a.s. The results of the evaluation of the company's situation were achieved by applying the methods of financial analysis and the data needed for the individual methods were obtained from the financial statements from the period 2013-2017. The work contains three main parts. The first part contains the theoretical starting points, which are subsequently applied in the second, practical part. Based on the results obtained from the analysis, the third part of the thesis proposes solutions for improving the current situation.

The subject of this bachelor thesis is the evaluation of the financial situation in the company PKD, s. r. o. based on a financial analysis of the enterprise. The thesis focuses on the five-year period between 2016 and 2020. The first part includes the theoretical background of the thesis and concepts of financial analysis. In the second part, the theoretical knowledge is then used practically in the calculations to describe the financial condition of the company. The last part contains the actual proposals for solutions to improve the financial situation of the company.

The practical part contains financial plan of Auto Enge a. s. company for 2009. This plan consists of balance sheet, income statement and cash flow. It also includes plan control during the period from January to April 2009.

This bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of the financial situation of a selected company for the period 2018-2021. The first part focuses on the theoretical background and explanation of concepts that are closely related to financial analysis. In the next part, the basic information is presented to the company under study and its competitors in the industry. Furthermore, the financial situation of the company is analyzed by applying selected methods. The last section is devoted to suggestions for improving the financial situation of the company, which are proposed in accordance with the identified weaknesses.
