RSS reader application for iOS

The aim of this thesis is to develop an iOS application, an RSS reader mobile application with some social aspects and it's publication on the App Store. This thesis can also serve as inspiration when creating similar applications for iOS devices and enclosed source code can also serve as a practical study material. There are two parts of this thesis - the theoretical part and the practical part. In the theoretical part, the reader is provided with an overview of mobile development and mobile platforms. Moreover, there are mentioned new features of iOS 8, things needed for iOS development, a brief overview of Objective-C and Swift programming languages and web syndication and RSS & Atom formats characterized. In the practical part, there is the development of the RSS reader application which is based on using Feedly cloud services. Next there is a description of the features and functionality, the user interface, some topics of implementation are tackled and there is a list of third party libraries that are used in the application. Some marketing strategies and support is described in the last few pharagraphs of this part of the thesis.
Use of gamification in an electronic system for job search

This thesis deals with gamification in job searching electronic system. The main objective is to design e-recruitment system with implemented gamification. System is implemented to application prototype for mobile operating system iOS and afterwards it is user tested. The first chapter is about theory of gamification and Mechanics Dynamics Aesthetics framework, which is used in practical part. The second part is about analysis of current state of gamification in web and mobile appli-cations. There is also a proper e-recruitment analysis in this chapter and according to the established methodology it describes specific e-recruitment applications. The third part deals with practical design of e-recruitment system using gamification for career portal UNIjobs.cz. There is also description of application prototype develop-ment and its user testing.
The development of a mobile application and its publishing in the online store

This work tries to describe phases of the mobile application development, from a concept through actual application development, to publishing in the online store. The beginning of the work describes the devices, the operating system and the frameworks for 2D iOS game development. Also the Sprite Kit framework and the common terminology are introduced. The practical part is about development of the game itself with Sprite Kit framework in Xcode IDE. The reader is familiarized with submitting the app to the App Store and also with the approval process. At the end the thesis is aimed to parts of the web tool for developers called iTunes Connect with statistics and game versions.
The Position of Apple Incorporated in the World Economy

My Diploma Thesis is aimed to clarify the position of the Apple Incorporated in the world economy, as well as expectations and anticipations for future. I decided to write about Apple not only because it's one of the leading company in the technology Market, but because interest to its production is increasing day by day, making it highly competitive. Coming to the content of my work: It consists of 3 chapters, with several subchapters being included into each chapter. The first chapter is an overview of the company's history, showing step by step its growth, rise and fall periods, first computers and production. As all the history of Apple existence is connected with the name of Steve Jobs, I decided to express my opinion about Post-Steve Jobs era. Second chapter consists of PEST,SWOT,Competitor and product analysis of the company's product, where iPhone, Ipad and Mac were analyzed. and the third and last chapter reveals vision and mission of the company,its preferences, values, finishing with very positive note, such as the short overview of the most successful products of the company.
Development of web applications for mobile phones

This bachelor work aims to describe the technologies used for developing mobile web applications, explain the differences between developing desktop application and mobile application, and give an example of mobile application. In addition to web application are in the work also mentioned the native application. Further the work analyzes mobile platforms and devices, and describes the differences between it. For web application development are described the most frequently used frameworks such as jQuery Mobile, Sencha Touch, etc. Work also describes the development environments and emulators that support the creation of mobile web application. For a given topic, there is a very austere literature and even fewer resources in the Czech language, so I decided to prepare this topic. The goal is achieved by gradually injected in to the topic, describing the current market situation and probable development of the sector. Subsequently are processed and explained most used technologies and principles of their use, especially using the programing language JavaScript. At the end of the work is created a sample application that demonstrates the possibilities of the web and also native applications.
Commercial communications of iPhone and iPad applications

The Master's Thesis with a title Commercial communication of iPhone and iPad applications is focused on the analysis of the effectivness of the individual elements that are neccessary for a successful application with a special attention on commercial communation. The paper is divided into two parts where the first (theoretical) one talks about the role of commercial communication in today's world, description the mobile phone market and its customers and specifying the activites recommanded to become successful with one's iPhone/iPad application. The main output of this part is the creation of hypothesis related to the recommended activities. The second (practical) part describes the life of two applications and compares the realized actitivites to the sales. The final part provides the evaluation of the hypothesis regarding the findings of the practical part.
