Possibilities of nuclear energy in the field of energy and media production
Svoboda, Filip ; Lisý, Martin (referee) ; Milčák, Pavel (advisor)
The main objective of this thesis is the possibility of combining nuclear power plants with energy storage technologies (specifically hydrogen production) and the subsequent balance of electricity and hydrogen production when combining these hybrid systems with photovoltaic power plants. With large installed capacities of renewable energy sources, it is necessary that other sources in the energy portfolio are flexible and then it is possible to regulate the supply of electricity from these sources to the electricity grid (for example, reducing the output of a steam power plant for natural gas on sunny and windy days). The regulation of a nuclear power plant is limited and therefore it is advantageous to start using it, for example, in a hybrid system with a PEM electrolyser. Then the nuclear power plant can produce electricity at a constant rate and only regulate the amount of electricity that goes to the grid or to the electrolyser.
Hybrid dynamic systems- analysis and modeling
Holub, Libor ; Findura, Milan (referee) ; Vavřín, Petr (advisor)
In this thesis the issue with the description, modeling and analysis of hybrid dynamic systems is solved. The main goal is to select appropriate method for solving hybrid dynamic systems and to aim to question on solving controllability, observability and stability of these systems. Two types of hybrid systems are covered in this work. In the first part, the description and simulation of hybrid systems that are compiled of continous and discrete parts with the systems of discrete affair are specified. For the description and modeling of hybrid automata and hybrid Petri nets have been used. The possibilities mentioned above are showned on the simple examples. Second part of this work covers the description, modeling and analysis of hybrid systems that are compiled of links continous and discreate dynamic system. The state space has been used. The universal state equations are mentioned and have been used for the description of the hybrid system and the structure of the matrixes A, B, C, D. The relation and basic method are spin off for the analysis of hybrid dynamic systems. From the analysis point of view, these are general methods for the controllability, observability, stability and steady state of hybrid dynamic systems. The examples of hybrid control systems for mentioned methods are specified. If it is allowed, the results are verified by the simulation in MATLAB Simulink background.

Analysis of the Java Virtual Machine
Bůna, Martin ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (referee)
The primary objective of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the virtual machine of Java. The virtual machine is first put in the context of virtualization and then the reason of the success of the concept of such virtual machine is shown. The virtual machine is discussed in detail in the next part of this thesis and the basic structure and principles upon which the virtual machine works are explained. In the end the primary language constructs of Java are shown in connection with the virtual machine.
