Tackling Primary Music School Students'Practicing Issues Using Contemporary Piano Teaching Methods

Presented master thesis tackles common piano practicing issues among students at the first stage of piano learning. The main purpose of the study is to investigate the difficulties that block students' progress, and analyze proper approaches that improve students' musical capabilities. The practicing issues are scientifically categorized into three categories: technical, interpretative and general practicing and performing issues, and are further analyzed from physical, psychological, and most importantly, educational perspective. In addition, contemporary piano teaching methods from various countries are explored and various methodologies and teaching philosophies are investigated and presented. Effective approaches, suitable strategies and practicing suggestions are provided in the study for both teachers and learners. Chinese piano educators can use this study to enrich their teaching methodologies and to develop new piano teaching methods.

Michaela Fukačová as an interpreter of Danish cello music

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on Michaela Fukačová. She is a distinguished Czech cellist, living in Denmark. The thesis deals with her life, professional career and concerto performances. Furthermore, the work is focused on composers who have the greatest influence on the evolution of music in Denmark, including the temporary Danish composers whose work has enriched the cellist literature. Michaela Fukačová is a successful composer of these pieces. She participates in their publicity and integration into the world´s cellist repertory.
INTERPRETATION AND SOUND RENDITION OF THE RECORDINGS OF SMETANA´S QUARTET IN E MINOR

The goal of this study is an interpretative and sound analysis of the recordings of Smetana's quartet in E minor, "From My Life". For this purpose recordings of The Bohemian Quartet, The Smetana Quartet, The Lindsay String Quartet, The Skampa Quartet and The Pavel Haas Quartet were selected. By a method of analysis, we determined character of the components involved in the impression of the composition and then we compared the individual outputs. The results provide a comprehensive view on these issues.
Giuseppe Verdi – Aida: the role of Amneris – a study of interpretation

The aim of this work is to familiarize the reader with the mezzosoprano role of Amneris from the opera Aida by Giuseppe Verdi. First it deals with the creation and the content of the opera in the context of the life of the composer. Then it focuses on the detailed characteristics of the role itself and comparison of two chapter analyses the duet of Aida and Amneris from the 2 . act and compares the approach of the stage direction of both of the above-mentioned productions. The work concludes with the opinions of the interpretation of this role by the current performers of Amneris.
NEW INTERPRETATION MEANS IN CZECH CONTEMPORARY MUSIC FOR THE GUITAR

This dissertation explores the field of new interpretation means in the compositions for the guitar solo by Czech contemporary authors. Nineteen works have been chosen, in the period from 1943 to 2015. The material obtained through analysis is by the means of comparison explored into a greater depth. The result of the research can be summarised in the statement that to write well for the guitar means to understand the right hand. In the chapter about instrumentation I further explain these features. The aim of this thesis is to inspire new works for the guitar.

This thesis describes the interpretation of Bedřich Smetana piano works under the interpretation of Věra Řepková, Jan Novotný a Ivan Klánský, interprets who recorded the complete Smetana piano works in the course of the 20th century. Interpretation analysis focuses on the identification and description of the differences in the understanding and performance of the key and most played piano works.
The Use of the Amplified Accordion in the Contemporary Music

This bachelor thesis deals with the issues of the accordion amplification, comparing different creative and technical approaches: the ways of sound recording, different internal microphone systems and different concepts of music composition. Evaluation of the results of my work, will hopefully allow me to design and subsequently build a new internal microphone system for the live production.
The work of conductor in section of wind instruments

These bachelor thesis are focused on work of conductor in wind intruments section as a part of symfonic orchestra. Thesis creates complex of important information for work with sections of wind instruments, individual chapters are looked for solution in branch of tuning, balance of sound, instrumentation, acoustics of concert hall together with methodology approach to winds as a whole. First chapter is focused on different systems of tuning and its suitable application in music working. In second chapter is described characteristic of wind instruments and its particularity including acoustic and design attributes. The third chapter is aimed to methodology of winds: tuning, balance of the sound, rhytmical precision, position of musicians at the stage atc. The fourth chapter deals with field of instrumentation and contains examples of its solution. The fifth chapter is written as a reflection on acoustics of concert halls including of balance of the sound.
