Media image of fans culture in Gambrinus liga stadiums in season 2013/2014

This Bachelor's thesis aims to describe the media image of fans culture in Czech football stadiums in season 2013/2014. Many events happened in this particular season of Gambrinus League that then turned attention of media, the Czech Football Association and the general public to hooliganism. Especially, it was the disturbance during the half-time break of Baník Ostrava vs Sparta Prague match. After the match, the Czech Football Association decided to follow safety standards strictly and told the referees to interrupt matches when vulgar chants or offensive banners appear. However, this attitude of the Czech Football Association made football fans even more angry and tension in the stands escalated. This brought three other significant affairs, which this paper includes - the Prague derby between Sparta and Slavia, Teplice vs Sparta match and the Česká pošta Cup Final. The research is based on the observations from the following media: Mladá fronta DNES, the most read Czech broadsheet, and Sport - the only Czech daily newspaper focused solely on sport.

Football as a means of expression of Serbian political radicalism in the 21st century

Bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of expressing radical political opinions during the football matches in Serbia. First part of this thesis is dedicated to the historical background of the Serbian nationalism, its connection to the region of Kosovo and its relationship with other Balkan nations and countries. Examined topics in the first chapter were the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, Tito's and Miloševićov's states of Yugoslavia and the final dissolution of the Balkan states during the late 90s and the first decade of the 21st century. Second chapter is dedicated to the general introduction of radical political presentations during the football matches and introduced specific incidents that occurred during the games. Moreover, the second part explained the hooliganism problematics and its connection to the radical political manifestations in Serbia. The main aim of the thesis is to prove whether the football matches are used for expression of the Serbian political radicalism and whether the manifestated actions were related to the events of the Serbian history. Consumer Protection at football stadiums

The goal of the diploma thesis is insight into the problematics of spectator's violence at football stadiums and elaboration of proposal of the precautions which would lead to elimination of football hooliganism. Theoretical part contains general characteristic of football hooliganism, history of destructive behaviour at football stadium and activities regarding ensuring security during football matches. Practical part includes marketing research, benchmarking and proposal of the precautions which would solve problematics of spectator's violence at football stadiums in the Czech Republic.
