This bachelor thesis is focused on evaluation of financial situation of selected company through financial analysis methods. The first part of this thesis contains theoretical information to the financial analysis and its methods. In the second part of the thesis the selected company is introduced and the methods are aplicated. The data are supplemented by financial indicators of competitive companies and industry average. The last part of the thesis includes proposals which lead to improving financial situation of the company.

This bachelor thesis focuses on the evaluation of the financial situation of XTline, s.r.o. in the years 2018 to 2022 using financial analysis indicators. The bachelor thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part deals with the theoretical background, which is then applied in the analytical part. The second part deals with a detailed analysis of the current state of the company. The obtained results are then compared with a suitable competitor from the same business sector. The third part is used to make suggestions for improving the financial situation based on the results obtained in the analytical part.

The thesis Deals with evaluation of financial situation of Vodovody a kanalizace Břeclav which takes care of running the water supply system and the sewage system in the city of Břeclav. The evaluated period is during years 2012 - 2016. In theoretical part of the thesis some basic terms are identified as well as financial indicators and methods of financial and strategic analysis and also basic information about public contracts in the Czech Republic. In the analytical part I state basic information about the company, calculations of financial indicators and analysis of economy in the field of public contracts. Third part contains proposals for improvements to financial situation of the company.
