The diploma thesis is devoted to the evaluation of the performance of a company operating in the automotive industry and the proposal for the development of this company. The first part summarizes the objectives of the thesis and methods and procedures used. The second part contains a theoretical overview describing the basic concepts and methods used in other parts of the thesis. The third part is devoted to the evaluation of the enterprise using strategic and financial analysis in the years 2017-2022. The last part of the thesis presents a proposal for the development of the enterprise in the form of an evaluation of the effectiveness of the investment in a new production hall.

Čada, A., Valuation of a company's investment in a means of transport. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2023. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the efficiency of the investment in the means of transport and to propose the optimal way of financing the investment. The bachelor thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part contains the theoretical definition of the concepts needed in the practical part of the thesis. The second part contains the introduction of the enterprise and the investment project, selected indicators of financial analysis, cash flow compilation, determination of the discount rate and evaluation of the efficiency of the investment according to monetary and non-monetary criteria. The third part contains the resulting comparison of two possible financing options and the actual recommendation of the optimal way of financing the investment.

This Master’s thesis is devoted to the evaluation of the performance of a company engaged in the production of components for the automotive industry. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts and methods of performance evaluation. In the analytical part, methods of strategic and financial analysis are used in the monitored years 2017-2021 to evaluate the current state of the company. Based on the outputs from these analyses, a proposal is drawn up, which is a recommendation for maintaining the company's performance.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate an investment plan of effectiveness of the Worthington Cylinders a.s. company. On the basis of the data and information from the company I evaluated the investment plan through the statistic and dynamic methods which were given in the resources. The last part of the thesis includes the final evaluation and the decision whether to realize the investment plan or not.
