Numerical model of ultrasonic oil level sensor
Chutný, Pavel ; Bílek, Michal (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
This master’s thesis verifies physical principle of ultrasound in fluids by numerical model. At first, ultrasound study is ment. In second theoretic part, diferent kind of motor oils are described. Next, equations for numerical simulation are presented. In practical part, numerical model of level sensor is examined in well-knowed fluids (water, air). Results of laboratory measurement on topic of ultrasound velocity in oil dependent on temperature are aplicated on numerical model of sensor and optimalized.
Monitoring of the sewerage system in the city of Brno
Dvorský, Petr ; Prax,, Petr (referee) ; Hluštík, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the monitoring of the sewerage system in the city of Brno. In the research part, there is made an overview of the most used measuring equipment for the monitoring of the sewerage system – level meters, flowmeters, automatic samplers. The practical part is devoted to the monitoring of the sewerage system in Brno for partial evaluation of the benefits of the project „Reconstruction and completion of sewerage in Brno“, realized in 2012 – 2014. Measuring campaign has taken place from June to October 2017. In the course of the work, the instalation of measuring equipment and the collection of measured data was done. After finishing measuring campaign, the data were evaluated from different aspects – the number of overflows, the quantity of overflowing water, the dilution ratio and the quantity of discharged pollution. Then, the hydraulic and construction technical assement of the pipelines of sewer network and overflow chambers and assements of the quantity of the rainwater were made. The results of the evaluation were compared with the results of the previous monitoring campaingns and with the data obtained before the project has been realized. Based on this, the benefit of the project was determined.
Device for measuring fluid level
Mlčák, Petr ; Dvořák, Jan (referee) ; Sikora, Pavel (advisor)
Thesis focuses on device design and realization of battery powered fluid level meter with intended use in underground tanks. Device can be configured to set the measurement and send data to cloud periods. Device is able to send warning emails if low battery voltage is detected and also send warning emails if measured water level is outside the range set by user. Theoretical part focuses on some of nowadays used measurement methods used in water level measurement. This part also includes a brief description of bus and protocols used by final device. Next part is about design and realization of device. In this part are described some used components, analyzed some parts of software and also design and realization of hardware including final design of device.
Control System for Management of Water Supply at a Farm
Doležal, Aleš ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with installing a new system for the supply and management of water on a farm. A PLC from Unitronics company was chosen with the appropriate modules for control and operation. The PLC program has been written in the UniLogic integrated development environment from Unistronics company using ladder language. The new system is controlled and monitored locally by the HMI panel and remotely by the website. The HMI and the website were created in the UniLogic Integrated Development Environment. The thesis also deals with selecting suitable sensors and components for system regulation.
Smart garden control system
Antoš, Jan ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis aims to design and implement a distributed control system concept for a smart garden. This system can measure individual physical variables, process the measured data, send it to a central unit and display it to the user. The measured data is then backed up in a database, which is linked to the web for visualisation.
Level indikator with wireless communication
Smatana, Tomáš ; Friedl, Martin (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and realization of a device that is used for wireless measurement and control of liquid level. The first section explains the different options for level measurement, different implementation of wireless communication and describes the basic features of the Atmel AVR microcontrollers. Based on this analysis, appropriate solutions are selected sensors and wireless modules suitable for the design of the device. The second part is the design of a device which is subsequently implemented.
