The assignment of the bachelor's thesis is the design of the innovation center building in the inner block of the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava. The work is based on the architectural study of the subject AG035 Architectural designe and the construction study of the subject AG036 Complex project. The inner block of the treated area is located in the Bratislava - Staré Mesto district, in close proximity to important buildings and the historical core of the city. The goal of the proposal is to functionally activate the inner block and design the objects of the new innovation center, to create a representative architecture that will not only serve students, but also the public and will connect these two spheres. The proposal includes an innovative science center with laboratories and educational, social, multi-purpose spaces connected with the rector's workplaces. The basic concept of the idea design was to create a new dominant in the space, that solution creates an open space in the inner block and creates a number of functional free areas for students, teachers and the public. The proposed building has 2 underground floors, which are set into the terrain and primarily serve as an underground parking, individual research and laboratory spaces, and 10 above-ground floors, which mainly spaces for education, relaxation, students and the public.
