ZVS/ZCS converter for induction heating

The bachelor thesis deals with the design of high-frequency inverters with low-loss switching applied as an induction heater. Four known inverter topologies are presented in the thesis. The aim of the thesis is to select a suitable topology on which the induction heating will be implemented according to the theoretical knowledge found and subsequent simulations. The result of the semester thesis is a functional low-power model of an induction heater implemented on a PCB. The result of the bachelor thesis is high-power model of an induction heater for industrial use. Functionality tests and comparison of measured data with simulations are performed for both. For industrial induction heater, a melting test was performed with analysis of element content on spectrum analyzers to demonstrate use.
Kindergarten Heating Design

The main focus of this bachelor´s thesis is solution of heating for kindergarten building. The thesis is divided into three main parts: theoretical, computational and design parts. The theoretical part focuses on central heating. The computational part includes the design of the heating system and hot water preparation. The building is heated using panel radiators and bench convectors. The heat source is provided by a heat substation connected to a central district heating network. The heat substation is thermally independent and is equipped with plate heat exchangers for both the heating system and hot water heating. The design part includes technical report and drawings, which are based on the computational part.

The calculation part includes the design of heating using heaters and underfloor heating, dimensioning of the heating system, design of hot water preparation, design of forced ventilation, design of heat source and its security devices. The heat source is made from two suspended gas condensing boilers, water heating is stacked by help of an indirect heating stationary hot water storage tank, for forced ventilation is designed an air-conditioning unit with heat recovery and a water heater. The project part contains a technical report and project documentation.
