Audio power amplifier with audio processor and FFT analysis
Kubáň, Marián ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis is concerning about design of an audio power amplifier for home listening. Amplifier involves two audioprocessors, the first one chooses one of the four avaliable audio stereo inputs. The second just sets the considered shape of frequency characteristic of one of the picked audio signal. As soon as tha signal leaves the audiprocessors, its path is divided. First route leads to the power amplifier and second one ends up in the analog to digital converter. Both audiprocessors are adjusted via IIC line by 8-bit microcontroller. The primary role of microcontroller is to enumerate frequency coefficients through the fast fourier transformation with Cooley-tukey algorithm. Result of FFT is then displayed on graphical display unit. The whole desired parametres as volume, trebble, input selection, atc., are driven with one controller and that is a rotary encoder.
LCD Matrix Display Driver
Satora, Ondřej ; Šebesta, Jiří (referee) ; Vágner, Petr (advisor)
The aim of my semestral project is a realisation of a driver matrix LCD from older NOKIA mobile phones with the PCD8544 chip. This driver is situated between an LCD and a device using it. The proposed driver should cover rendering graphical elements for the main application, thus making work with the LCD easier. This saves memory needed for using the LCD as well as computing time.
Microprocessor control unit with frequency synthesizer for SW radiostation
Povalač, Aleš ; Fuchs, Michal (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the development of a radioamateur short-wave transceiver. The basic functions, features and parameters are described in the introduction. The bandplan and appropriate types of emission are also included in the introductory part. The frequency synthesis module is discussed in the second part of the document. Emphasis is placed on the direct digital synthesis method (DDS) using modern Analog Devices circuits. The proposed DDS module includes a high-speed clock source. The description of an intermediate frequency module with a demodulator is also placed there. The final part in devoted to the design of a transceiver control panel with a graphical display, a keyboard and a rotary encoder. The firmware for an ATmega128 microcontroller is described in detail at the end of the thesis.
Possibilities of mis(use) of graphical outputs in statistical data processing
HELLER, Pavel
This thesis deals with the problem of displaying graphical outputs so that a certain fact is hidden. The aim of this thesis is to provide basic information about graphical outputs. Subsequently, outline the issue of their possible use or misuse and provide basic advice on what to focus on graphical outputs in order not to deceive the graph reader. This thesis is divided into two parts - the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part contains a literary overview of the problems of graphical outputs and their processing. The practical part describes the research on practical graphs carried out on the focus group and individual respondents. Subsequently, the practical part includes the evaluation of this research and the drawing of basic recommendations for reading the graphs.
