This bachelor thesis focuses on a process of Novohradské hory natural park map portal creation. The theoretical part is trying to explain the importance of a geoportal as well as of a tool for its creation. After that follows planning of the project preparation and explanation of the chosen natural park territory, its characteristic and protection. Practical part resumes with the creation of the geoportal itself including addition of thematic applications on natural environments, its protection, territorial development and tourism. Moreover, the geoportal contains presentation of theses written by students of JU in České Budějovice, which relates to the research of the park territory. The final geoportal applications have been published with a help of webpages.

Visualizations history of changes in cadastral map

The goal of this master thesis is to suggest a methodology for a visualization history of changes in cadastral maps. The suggested methodology takes into account a selection of original historical and contemporary data, processing workflow and follow-up visualization using existing open source web technologies. The greatest contribution of this thesis is in the design of the spatio-temporal database, because currently there does not exist workable editor similar to it, which could be used for creating such data. The suggested procedure is based on database updating method of ISKN database utilizing amendment records. However this method is significantly simplified with the use of PostgreSQL/PostGIS geospatial functions. The available literature and other informational sources to the topic are overviewed in the first part of the master thesis. The term "spatio-temporal data" is thoroughly defined and also the ways of integrating temporal features into spatial data, methods of visualization of spatio-temporal data and recent state of their implementations into desktop platforms and web applications are noted. Management and description of geographic data in the field of environment of the Czech Republic

This thesis describes and analyzes the current state of environmental management of geographic data within geoinformation infrastructure of the Czech Republic in response to European legislation. The work is divided into four main parts. The first part deals with geoinformation infrastructure of the Czech Republic in its basic components due to the efficiency of the management of geographic data. Another part deals with the general characteristics of geospatial data underlying the description methods, organization and retrieval in the next section. The final part of its qualitative research describes in detail the management of geospatial data in the environmental sector, which is affected by the phenomenon of the implementation of INSPIRE and draws conclusions and recommendations. The work also supports the analysis of the availability of data sources for the implementation of the INSPIRE directive, the questionnaire used as a guide for research purposes, to illustrate the services Geoportal three pictures. Geionformation technology

The subject of the bachelor's thesis is the description and characteristic of selected geoinformation technologies. In the theoretical part the terms geoinformatics and geoinformation technologies are defined. It is followed by the description of specific features of the chosen technologies and their utilization possibilities. The practical part deals with the geoportal of the region of Central Bohemia. It describes the functionality and user interface of the applications placed in this portal, inclusive the proposal of possible extensions. In the conclusion of the thesis, factors affecting this portal are classified by means of SWOT analysis. The main purpose of the thesis is to acquaint the readers with geoinformation technologies and map applications of particular geoportal.

Webové geoportály pro samosprávy obcí a možnosti realizace pro město Strážnice

This thesis deals with the map portals, respectively geoportals being possibly implemented principally by local governments and citizens themselves. The literature review section looks at the current geoportals in the historical and contemporary context. The research of the current market identified possible options of commercial implementation of geoportal for specific conditions of the town of Strážnice. The following section analyzes open source variants of creating map portals. The market research is followed by an evaluation of particular alternatives and implementation process. Several sample functional geoportals have been created in the thesis. Results of this study provide materials for the local government of Strážnice and all potential applicants on the decision of an implementation of geoportal.
