Physical load in simulated sustained military operations: A Systematic Review
Fanta, Matěj ; Vágner, Michal (advisor) ; Sýkora, Karel (referee)
Title: Physical load in simulated sustained military operations: a systematic review Objective: To create an overview and description of the physical load that soldiers undergo in simulated sustained operations. Methods: The method chosen to create this bachelor's thesis was a systematic review of literature and studies related to sustained military operations. The thesis was conducted according to the international PRISMA recommendations. Based on the aim of the thesis and the research question, a script was created to identify potentially relevant studies through the Web of Science, PubMed, Scopus and SPORTDiscus databases. To the systematically identified studies, studies from other sources obtained through non- systematic searching were added. Selected studies that met the predefined inclusion criteria underwent a methodological quality assessment, followed by processing and analysis of the selected data. Results: The systematic review included 42 studies with participation of 872 men and 69 women. However, a number of these studies were published based on data from larger investigations, or some of the articles were a continuation of previously published studies. In some cases, the protocols described were identical. For this reason, only 26 studies that followed different protocols are...
The normalization study of the motoric tests focusing on strength, endurance and dexterity performance at the artillery and air force military personnel.
Šrámek, Antonín ; Vágner, Michal (advisor) ; Sovák, Libor (referee)
The normalization study of the motoric tests focusing on strength, endurance and dexterity performance at the artillery and air force military personnel. The physical preparedness of soldiers is an important component of the military's combat capability. In peacetime, soldiers increase their physical level in all-military training, where they also undergo physical performance examinations. Standardised motor tests are used for the objective assessment of physical performance, where it is necessary to set the norms to which the performance is assessed. The objectives This diploma thesis aimed to set the normsfor the motor test "Deadlift", "Hand Release Push-up", "3000-Metre Run" and "Carrying the Load", in which reliability during repeated measurements was also assessed. The method The research set consisted of 105 artillerymen for the first three above mentioned motor tests and 65 men (44 artillerymen and 21 men from the helicopter airbase) for "Carrying the Load". The set of soldiers was divided into age groups within five years. To calculate the norms, the normal distribution of the data was first verified and then the possible difference between the ages was compared using parametric and non-parametric ANOVA. Potential differences between the categories were compared using the Mann-Whitney test...
Analysis of tests of physical fitness of IZS units
Kovář, Jáchym ; Fiala, Miloš (advisor) ; Vilášek, Josef (referee)
Title: Analysis of test on physical competence of Joint Rescue System's members. Objectives: The main purpose is to analyze tests of physical competence of Joint Rescue System's members. Methods: The method of analysis was used in the work. The method of analysis was applied in the analysis of individual tests of physical fitness for the described components of the Joint Rescue System. Results: We've found that the physical tests of the components of the Joint Rescue System differ in the number and difficulty of individual physical tests. Differences were also found in the division into groups according to gender, age and job classification. However, the same elements in the strength of physical tests were also proven. Keywords: analysis, Joint Rescue System, physical training, tests.

TITLE OF THE WORK The use of CrossFit in armed forces and fire brigade in the Czech Republic. DEFINITION OF THE PROBLEM This work focuses primarily on the detection of awareness of the members of the Czech Republic army, of the Czech Republic police and of the Czech Republic fire brigade about the CrossFit as possible way of training which leads to better physical condition according to present rules and legal norms of system of physical trainig, as well as in present practiced form of physical training. MAIN GOALS The main objective is to determine what is the awareness of CrossFit in the CzechArmy, Police of the Czech Republic and finally the Fire Brigade of the Czech Republic. At the same time, this work aims to find out how CrossFit used in these folders. PLAN OF PROCESSING At the beggining of bachelor theses will be introduced CrossFit as complex, all-purpose program and life style. Next will be introduced phylosophy of changes of tests of motorical abilities of soldiers of US army and present incorporation of CrossFitt in to the physical preparation of most of the troops acting in USA. As further will be introduced to complete the implementation of the system of physical training at the OS operating in the Czech Republic and the Fire and Rescue Service in the Czech Republic. Title: System of conditional preparation of professional members of the Joint Rescue System and its comparison with the training of endurance runners. Objectives: The main purpose of this work is to describe and compare the preparation of Joint Rescue System and the endurance runners. Methods: The method of comparison and the method of analysis were used. The method of analysis was applied in analysing the individual physical preparation of members of the Joint Rescue System and the preparation of endurance runners. The method of comparison was used in comparing certain units of the Joint Rescue System generally and to a runner. Results: We've found out that the units of the Joint Rescue System and the runners differ in their coverage. The members of the Joint Rescue System are trying to have the same efficiency throughout the year. Runners are trying to boost their efficiency in order to incoming races and test. Keywords: Joint Rescue System, endurance run, physical training, tests.

Korčák, Jakub ; Thiel, Dan (advisor) ; Sovák, Libor (referee)
Title Physical education and physical training systems in the armies of European countries. Purposes The aim of this thesis is to identify the anchoring and stability of physical training in selected European armies. Methods Using a questionnaire survey, I gained information on selected European armies. I asked 40 soldiers from foreign armies by email. The questionnaire included 21 questions, of which 11 were open-ended and 10 were closed-ended. Questionnaires were collected by application Google forms that allows creating and managing questionnaires. Although the research results can not be quantified, due to the topic of research and opportunities to conduct the research I have chosen a quantitative method of data collection and specifically a questionnaire survey. Results They compare physical training systems in European armies. The results show differences between systems. The results show that the selected European armies have a very similar system of physical education and agree with most of the criteria examined. Key words Physical education system, physical preparation, army, Czech army.

Specific and fitness testing of goalies HC Motor Czech Budejovice\\
KOLANDA, Michal
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to test specific and fitness abilities of goalkeepers of HC Motor Czech Budejovice. In the theoretical part of this thesis, based on content analysis of literature research, the author presents motoric abilities, development patterns and overview of most frequently used tests. In the practical part of thesis, the author deals with creating and verifying tested battery. It was designed using the knowledge gained from books reference and self- experience of a player and a coach as well. To obtain the results of performance of particular motoric abilities the author used testing method. The outcomes were subsequently compared with the evaluation of given motoric abilities on ice. The author acquired the evaluation from goalkeeper's coaches of HC Motor Czech Budejovice. Final results are described and thereafter tabularly presented.
