Comparative Analysis of the Approaches of the Czech Republic and Denmark to Quality in Further Education

The diploma thesis deals with the approaches of the Czech Republic and Denmark in the areas of determining and measuring the quality of further education. The aim of this work is to analyze and compare the views of both countries on the quality of further education. The introductory part first defines the basic terminology and then it focuses on different concepts in determining the quality of education with a subsequent narrowing to the quality of further education. It also describes the situation in selected areas of further education in the Czech Republic and Denmark. The historical development of further education is presented complemented by the current situation regarding legislation, counseling, financing, and participation in further education. The descriptive part ends with an introduction to the quality tools that both countries establish for educational institutions, educational programs, and lecturer's activities. The central part of the work focuses on the same and different features of both systems, and it generalizes the findings. The aim of the comparative analysis is to find incentives for the development of determining and measuring the quality of further education in both countries.
