Design of hearing aid
Svoboda, Adam ; Janoušek, Oto (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the physiology of the auditory system and defects that cause temporary or complete deafness. It was created program in Matlab, which allows modification of the speech signal to simulate hearing loss and subsequent multi-channel amplification, presenting function of the digital hearing aid. It also deals with distribution of hearing aids according to the material and software and there is dismantled some modern systems from Siemens and functions that may include hearing aids.
Integration of unmanned air vehicles to uncontrolled airspace
Kohutek, Jakub ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (referee) ; Vosecký, Slavomír (advisor)
The master’s thesis expresses an opinion on trends in UAV integration into non-segregated airspace issue. In the beginning, barriers to integration are characterized and a broader context is shown. Since necessity of the technical realization of the “see and be seen” principle exists, requirements for so called Sense and Avoid systems are presented. Various methods of Sense and Avoid are briefly described, highlighting their contribution to air safety and their potential for future development. The UAV communication topic is described in the last chapter, providing a list of the volume of transmitted messages, analyzing data link frequencies and selecting appropriate means of UAV operations.
Influence of breathe to baroreceptor reflex
Humpolík, Tomáš ; Janoušek, Oto (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
This Master's thesis deals with the influence of breathe to baroreceptor reflex. The first chapter is focused on measuring of blood pressure, in reference to later used method. In the second part is detailed analysis and explanation of term baroreflex, relationship between frequency spectra of systolic blood pressure, heart rate and breathing, mechanisms of regulation of blood pressure and heart rate variability. Third chapter deals with possible ways, how to analyze data, which are needed for estimation of baroreflex sensitivity, analyze of heart rate variability and estimation of power spectral density. Next parts of this thesis is paid attention to technical equipment and methods of acqusition of data, using this equipmnent. Part of this work is also software application, which makes possible from the recorded data estimate baroreflex sensitivity.
Biofeedback and its practical use
Dvořák, Jiří ; Hrozek, Jan (referee) ; Čmiel, Vratislav (advisor)
The aim of this work is describe common methods of biological feedback therapy that is used to treat some psychosomatic diseases. Subsequently, the description is focused on minimal brain dysfunction treatment by the help of EEG biofeedback. Properties and technical requirements for this therapy are concretized. The last part of this thesis is dedicated to the design and realization of practical software tool for EEG biofeedback therapy which is made in LabView 7.1. The M535 acquisition unit and NI USB-6221 measuring device are used for hardware solution.
Minimizing the effect of interference on wireless network
Doležal, Jan ; Kyselák, Martin (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
This thesis is concerned the technology with technologies of transfer through wireless devices. It is about possibilities of optimization of transfer in wireless net, especially of the reduction of interference influence. The first part is about theory and the standards development of wireless technology. There are methods and principles used in wireless technologies. The second part is a practical measuring and testing of an internal wireless net, with the emphasis being on the source of interference influence. Measuring was focused on interference between access points and was not about meteorological influence. It continues with theory and testing of interference of the microwave oven in our wireless net. Then, it is a practical demonstration of interference in an external environment. There are practical examples of interference between different providers’ nets on the same area and solutions to prevent or to cancel this interference. In next part of work the wireless net is parsed and described in a given territory. Here is described the way how to precede the reciprocal interference and eventually how this mutual disturbance suppress. Consequently, our net is optimized for customer growth and for today’s options of newer and more powerful components for wireless transfer. Finally there are two laboratory tasks. The first one is about practical measuring and testing of wireless net’s parameters and the second one is about simulation of wireless networks in the Opnet program.
