In this work, the application of statistical methods used for the evaluation of the economic indicators of Matrix, as, and on the basis of suggestions made to improve the financial situation. The theoretical part describes the issue of time series and selected economic indicators. In the practical part are then analyzed provided the financial statements of the company and then using a time series regression analysis predicted the future development of the company. The company is in very good financial shape but should focus on liquidity and profitability, which do not show the recommended values.

The master´s thesis is focused on the assessment of financial performance of the company using statistical methods. The theoretical part describes financial indicators, time series, regression analysis and correlation analysis. The analytical part contains the calculation of financial indicators, which are used to determine the actual financial situation of the company. Subsequently, statistical methods are used to predict future development and the aim is to detect dependence between indicators. The last third part includes suggestions for improving the current situation of the company.

This diploma thesis deals with differences in income and pension between men and women in the Czech Republic. The target was to evaluate time series and panel data of income and pension of both sexes and to evaluate the existence of differences by using econometrics methods. From the performed analysis was forecast the future development for next three years and then was created the marketing recommendation for retail store regarding the focus on consumers in the pension in the end.

The thesis deals with the determination and analysis of government support for building savings in the Czech republic between 2001 and 2009. The general section describes the legal framework of building savings system and the main products offered by building societies. The application section examines the progression of government support for building savings and delas with its forecasts.
