Analysis of project OHK Brno for business subject in region

This thesis seeks to analyze the impact of a range of projects of Chamber of Commerce Brno on the entrepreneurs from the respective region. The thesis describes the structure and the overall operation of the Chamber of Commerce Brno as well as its several projects. In order to evaluate, there are three marketing researches that need to be taken into a consideration. Those marketing researches had been realised during the period of 2005 – 2007. Baring the results risen from the abovementioned marketing researchs in mind, the created situation has been assessed, and based on the personal experience the recommendations dedicated to the management have been created.
Overview of information resources on biomass combustion

The Bachalor's work is concerned to the mapping of the information resources in the area of biomass combustion. The main aim and theme on wich is the work mainly focused on, is to introduce basic, as well as related information sources, which from is possible obtain useful and valuable datas for any further manipultion together with research of biomass combustion and scene field of energetics, as the integral part. Significant attention in each chapter si aslo put on the gathering practice - oriented and applied informations.
Corporate social responsibility and its influence on society

Bachelor thesis "Corporate social responsibility and its influence on society" deals with a form of responsibility in corporate behavior and its effect on surrounding world. A lot of new threats have come up these days because of still rising economic growth. That's why the traditional form of responsibility has to be changed. Corporations have started to implement concept of corporate social responsibility to their business strategies focused on wide spectrum of stakeholders. Thesis is based on qualitative research and presents corporate social responsibility itself and its role and position in society from different views of four groups of stakeholders. I chose these groups: corporations with strategic social responsibility, employees from corporations with and without the concept, nonprofit organizations and customers. Thesis deals with experience of the groups with corporate social responsibility, its influence on them and whether the concept is seen more like marketing strategy and PR or nonprofit helping and being responsible. Survey finally discovered educative influence of corporate social responsibility on society and that the groups are developed by the concept. Compensation aids for people with visual disability and the specifics of their availability

The topic of this bachelor's thesis is Compensative aids for people with visual disability and and the specifics of their availability. The aim of this research is to determine clients approach of companies distributing compensative assistive devices in Czech Republic on the basis of qualitative study and also any other company offers except of this device purchase. According to the goals above the two questions of the research were stated: 1) Do compensative assistive devices purchasing companies render any services? 2) What is the companies client approach? The study is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. Theoretical one includes four main basic units. The first unit applies to classification of visual impairments and person with visual impairments using compensative assistive devices because of disease. The second unit is devoted to amends as it is and senses partly replacing sense of vision. In the third unit compensative assistive devices are classified and described. In the last unit the study is focused on service scheme and system of companies rendering services to person with visual impairments in Czech Republic. In the practical part the characteristics of the aim, methods of research, methods of data gathering are given. To reach the aim of the practical part the qualitative analysis was used. The method of data gathering were open debates and websites. The undertook study showed that companies distributing compensative assistive devices apply to the best advertising companies not only appropriate organizations but also person with visual impairments to know a thing about them. This companies do their best and try to afford the highest quality service to their clients. Fair enough this companies want clients to be satisfied and recommend them further. Due to it companies may rise.
Changes of Corporate Social Responsibility

In 1953, Howard R. Bowen gave rise to the debate on social responsibility, and since then it has become very widespread. The concept of Corporate Social Responsibility gained a lot of forms during the second half of the twentieth century and from the university campuses got into practice and also into the Czech Republic. On the background of changing theoretical approaches toward CSR we can see changes of business environment - especially in the change of the conceptualization of the enterprise - from shareholder perspective to stakeholder perspective. Stakeholder theory extensively influenced the approach to CSR. Based on the thematic analysis and interviews with the actors, I identified two main practiced approaches towards CSR. Some actors understand the corporate social responsibility on the background of moral values, on the contrary, other understand this concept on the background of economic interests of the company. Firms can be responsible from both reasons on the basis of external pressures. But, some companies "play a game on social responsibility" and society does not perceive it positively. This negative experience can be transferred to other companies with "CSR label". However, many researches have repeatedly shown that citizens expect from the companies involvement in social issues...

Corporate volunteering in the South Bohemia

The topic of my final thesis is the corporate volunteering in region of South Bohemia, which is still in volunteering widely used. The theoretical part is divided into three parts. The first one deals with volunteering in general, division, history and motivation for volunteering in corporate world. The second part is devoted to corporate social responsibility (CSR), where you can find basic description and basic concepts of CSR, who is a stakeholder, where to find information and consultancy in the context of CSR and what services they offer. The aim of the thesis is to collect all relevant information and define the status of corporate volunteering in region of South Bohemia In the practice part I am using the quantitative research method, especially semi structure questionnaire to collect all relevant information. The research is divided into two parts. To companies, which are not involved in corporate volunteering program and to companies involved in this program. The results of my research confirmed the hypothesis, that in region of South Bohemia, companies are not involved in corporate volunteering program and the main reason is a lack of information about corporate volunteering programs. The second hypothesis, that corporate volunteering program is developing the team communication was also confirmed. My propose on that is to push more the promotion of corporate volunteering program and its benefits. The result of my thesis can be used as a teaching materials or basic information source to map the corporate volunteering in region of South Bohemia. Results can be also used to inform the public, businesses and NGOs on the issue of corporate volunteering.
