PÍCHA, Václav
This work focuses on cooperation between fire protection units and SIT Drones. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the legislation for flying a drone, its characteristics, description and the most common uses. The integrated rescue system, the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic and the fire protection units of the Pilsen Region are also described. The aim of the work was to answer the research question as accurately as possible. To answer the question, a survey was conducted, which consisted of personal meetings and a questionnaire survey. The results are shown in the work by tables and graphs. At the end of the work is the evaluation of this cooperation with their own knowledge and comments. The appendices of the bachelor's thesis contain photographs taken from a drone in cooperation with IRS units. The work is accompanied by a DVD with an appendix, which presents the cooperation of fire protection units in the Pilsen region with drones.
Technical means of fire protection in Příbram.
AUDA, Tomáš
In this bachelor's thesis regarding technical means of fire protection in the regional body of Příbram I dealt with technical and fire protection equipment of selected fire protection units. In the theoretical part I focused on general clarification of the concept of integrated rescue system and the description of its core and other departments. Subsequently, I discussed the levels of coordination during a common intervention of two or more units. The categories of fire protection units, types of fire protection units and their ability to act are also described. The next chapter focuses on the predestination of fire protection units. Further I discuss technical means of fire protection. I describe the basic concepts and their categorization according to the rules of the mechanical and technical service of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic. At the end of the theoretical part, the division of fire stations by type is described. In the research part of the thesis I describe selected fire protection units of categories I, II and III. Basic description of the surroundings, determination of the type of fire station, number of members of the unit, their professional competence, list of technical means of fire protection, documentation of fire stations and armories. Subsequent own research is presented for each unit in a clear bar graph. The discussion includes the evaluation and comparison of the equipment of selected fire protection units by technical means of fire protection according to the predestination and own research. The conclusion describes a general summary of the bachelor's thesis and extended research of new issues. At the end of the conclusion the practical use of the thesis is described.
Statistical investigation of physical readiness selected parametrs of professional firefighters within HZS South Bohemia CPS České Budějovice and HZSp JE Temelín
SEVERA, Marek
Physical readiness is an integral part of the requirements for the firefighter profession. Getting acquainted with the selected organization of units and mapping their physical training led to an understanding of the problem. Logical methods of applied quantitative research were used to obtain information. A factor (strength part of physical tests) was determined to compare the physical readiness of selected organizations. Using the application of empirical research methods, the parameterization of the selected factor was performed and the first research goal was met. Research hypotheses were positively verified by methods of investigating the obtained data: H1: Selected parameters of strength physical readiness should have an empirical distribution close to the normal distribution (normality was verified by nonparametric testing). H2: Comparison of the parameters of the strength part of physical tests of selected organizations should lead to the acceptance of the null hypothesis at the selected level of statistical significance (no statistically significant differences in the physical readiness of selected organizations were found at the selected level a= 0.05). By verifying the operationalized hypotheses H1, H2, the second goal of the work was fulfilled, the comparison of physical readiness between individual organizations. The verification of hypotheses was supported by the theory of estimates of theoretical parameters of the normal distribution and regression and correlation analysis of measured data with two dimensions of the strength part of physical tests (lying-seats, cranks). The theoretical benefits of the diploma thesis can be considered the proposed and implemented structuring of the theoretical part - a description of the organization of selected units, a description of physical training legislation, new trends in physical training, physical training abroad. The practical benefit of the diploma thesis is to document the chosen structuring of the theoretical part by selecting a suitable comparative factor - the strength component of physical tests. The applied quantitative research could have research connections - to document the chosen structuring of the theoretical part by other parameters of physical readiness and special physical training of professional firefighters.
Legal aspects of fire protection units in integrated rescue system
Vltavský, Petr ; Handrlica, Jakub (advisor) ; Petrmichl, Václav (referee)
in English This diploma thesis analyzes the legislation focused on the internal security of the state, especially it is focused on fire protection units and integrated rescue system. The aim of the diploma thesis was to open the problematic issues of the relevant legislation. The first part deals with the theoretical analysis of the relevant legislation and the second part contains research that is aimed at verifying the application of this legislation in practice. The first chapter deals with the factual definition of the components of the integrated rescue system, both the basic components and other components. It also discusses the basic coordination of the components of the integrated rescue system. The second chapter describes the factual definition of fire protection units in relation to other components of the integrated rescue system and then presents the various types of fire protection units. Individual types of fire protection units are defined in terms of their division, material definition, establishment, organizational structure and personnel substrate. The third chapter already deals with some narrowly defined aspects. The chapter describes the mutual cooperation and operation of fire protection units, including the introduction of the institute of the intervention commander, which...

Title: Analysis of the activities of selected fire brigade units of the Fire and Rescue Service ot the Czech Republic in different geographical conditions. Objective: The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyze the activities of selected fire brigade units of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic and then compare and evaluate the statistical formulation of their interventions. Another goal is also to describe the structure, activities, organization and work system of fire brigade units of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic. Methods: The diploma thesis uses methods such as content analysis and data collection from available sources. To obtain more detailed information from the commanders of individual stations, a qualitative method of semi- structured interview is used. The information obtained from the interviews is presented in the form of a transcript. Statistical data taken from the statistical department of the General Directorate of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic are processed into tables and graphs, which are described, compared and evaluated at the end. Results: The result of the diploma thesis is a summary of functioning of the fire brigade units included in the area coverage. Furthermore, the summary is also based on the interviews with the...
Association of firefighters of Bohemia, Moravia, and Silesia in the municipality with extended powers Sedlčany.
HERMA, Jiří
The primary purpose of this thesis is to describe activities and the equipment of volunteer fire brigades of a municipality, and their ability to interfere in extraordinary incidents. The thesis then investigates the cooperation with cooperation between volunteer fire brigades and professional unit of a municipality. The theoretical part deals with the history and development of firefighting. It draws briefly its development from the very beginning not only in the Czech Republic but also in the world. It is followed by the description of fire districts and the development of firefighters in the Sedlčany region. Afterwards the study is concerned with the citizens' associations involved in fire protection in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic. Association of firemen in the Czech Republic, Moravia and Silesia, The Czech firemen union and The Moravian firemen union belong to the best known citizen associations in the Czech Republic. In the area of the Slovakian Republic acts The consensual fire safety of the Slovakian Republic. As for Firefighters Association of Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia, the thesis focuses on the importance, substance and the main scopes of activities. In the following part the thesis looks into fire protection units. First, it explains the difference between volunteer fire brigades and a unit of volunteer fire brigades. Next, it shows types and categories of fire protection units and their division according to the departure time. This part also concerns the fundamental tasks of a volunteer unit brigades and its establishment. The aim of the practical part is to find out whether interventions of professional fire brigades of a community are a frequent issue. The field research took place in volunteer fire brigades of a municipality in the Sedlčany region. For the research I have used the questions which were used during interviews with representatives of the units. I have made a statistic, which is depicted in a graph. It follows how many times a unit of voluntary fire brigades of a municipality has interfered in a fire or in an extraordinary incident alone and how many times in cooperation with the Fire Brigade of the Central Bohemian Region, Sedlčany Fire Station. From the responses which were gained during the meetings arises that the cooperation between the professional firemen rescue body and a unit of volunteer fire brigades is frequent and has a very high quality in this region. The units mean considerable benefit for the region.
Ways of protection and decontamination of intervening members and members of fire brigades afflicted with ammonia
JOB, Lukáš
The topic of my thesis: "Possibilities and decontamination intervening members and members of the fire protection in contact with ammonia," which I deal with, is on the front burner, because ammonia is a very important and dangerous chemical that is increasingly used not only in industry, agriculture, but also in everyday life. Many business men still use ammonia mainly as a coolant and due to the age of the used technology it can happen and it happens that this chemical leaks into the environment, where it can be dangerous to health, life and the environment as well. It is very important to know the limits that we have to use to protect people, but also to know the intervening organs that carry out the rescue and the liquidation work just for events with the release of ammonia. The present thesis deals with protective equipment, decontamination procedures and the use of decontamination tools in the events of leakage of dangerous substances of ammonia at the Fire and Rescue Brigade of the City of Prague and Volunteer Fire Units of Prague.
Fire and rescue department of the capital city of Bratislava
Komár, Jozef ; Mervart, Michal (advisor) ; Kačala, Tomáš (referee)
The aim of this thesis is the analysis and description of the operation of the fire and rescue department which operatates in the territory of Bratislava, capital of Slovakia. To prevent damages on the lives of people and their property, it is essential that fire protection units will arrive on the place of incident in the shortest possible time. Effective blanket deployment of fire protection units in the city area helps to ensure it. The work thus focuses on the assessment of the current state of this blanket deployment and also on layout of the new deployment of fire protection units, which would fulfill the requirements of the time range and number of units required to be at the place of incident for fire protection intervention.
