The aim of this bachelor thesis was to carry out the appraisal of the financial position of the company CENTA, spol s r.o. in the years 2004 to 2008. To achieve the aim of the thesis, literary search for corresponding methods of financial analysis and their applications was done. Then, in the theoretical part of this work, the basic principles and starting points of the work were presented. The findings were further applied in the practical part of the thesis where the basic profile of the company was worked out and, on the base of selected methods of financial analyses, the evaluation of the financial position and efficiency of the company was completed. Proposals and recommendations for improvement of both financial position and efficiency of the company were given in the conclusive parts of the thesis.

The Influence of Tangible and Intangible Fixed Assets Measurement and Its Impact on the Efficiency of an Accounting Entity

The focus of this bachelor thesis are tangible and intangible fixed assets and their impact on the efficiency of an accounting entity. In the beginning, the terminology related to the topic is explained. Each chapter includes illustrations of relevant mathematical problems and their solution, which demonstrates the impact of the tangible and intangible fixed assets' measurement. The practical part is based on the twenty five responses from an online questionnaire, which was made specifically with purpose of mapping the methods of depreciation and asset acquisition. The conclusion then compares the theoretical background with the reality of the results gained in the online questionnaire.

Financial analysis and financial plan of Level Hlinsko, spol. s.r.o.

Bachelor's thesis focuses on the financial analysis and the financial plan of Level Hlinsko, spol. s. r. o. The methodical part contains particular indicators and techniques used in the practical part to make a complete reflection of the financial situation in the company. The main used sources are economic final accounts for years 2005 -- 2010. The particular financial indicators are compared with the indicators of regional companies for an objective evaluation. Level Hlinsko, spol. s. r. o. is a quite small construction company whose management has not prepared any investment plans. That is the reason why financial plan in the thesis is a kind of subjective opinion supported by the analysis of the construction industry in Pardubice region. The final conclusion reflects the strengths and the weaknesses of Level Hlinsko spol. s. r. o. in SWOT analysis. The construction industry contains many competitors and is really sensitive on the economic cycle. How affected was the company in the critical years 2008 -- 2010 is also showed in this thesis.

Theory and Practice of Financial Analysis

Analysts, managers or other business executives and students have at their disposal wide variety analytical techniques when they want to evaluate company's financial position or when they wish to better understand the financial implication of business operational activities or investment. This thesis examines the uses of financial analysis as one of the main financial assessment techniques. After describing theoretically the main tools of financial analysis, this thesis determines the practicality of these tools in evaluating the financial health of a car distributor company for the period from year 2002 to year 2009. Despite the fact that the analyzed company's core business is car distributor, this analysis takes into consideration also other activities of the company such as repair center because, as the analysis shows, it influenced the financial results of the company. This thesis is concluded with general outcomes from the financial analysis and with recommendation for the company in order to prevent potential risks and in order to improve its financial results.

Cílem této práce je zhodnocení finanční situace společnosti Racio,s.r.o. z pohledu externího uživatele na základě dat z účetních výkazů z let 2002 - 2006. Finanční analýza je založená na absolutních i poměrových ukazatelích - rentability, aktivity, zadluženosti apod. Zda společnost nemá finanční potíže a nesměřuje k bankrotu je zhodnoceno pomocí bonitních a bankrotních ukazatelů.
