The Proposal for the Provision of Comprehensive Services for a Family Business Operating in the Field of Interior Design and Equipment

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá návrhem konceptu nabídky komplexních služeb pro malý rodinný podnik působící v oblasti designu a vybavení interiérů. Teoretická část obsahuje literární rešerši zabývající se problematikou strategického plánování a jeho propojení na produktovou business strategii včetně specifik řízení rodinných malých podniků a orientace služeb na B2B trh. V analytické části práce jsou aplikovány vybrané analyticko-výzkumné metody za účelem identifikace klíčových faktorů v rámci kontextu prostředí s následným vyhodnocení stavu a identifikace vnějších faktorů pomocí COP rámce. Návrhová část obsahuje konečný návrh konceptu nabídky poskytování komplexních služeb vedoucí ke zvýšení tržeb společnosti.

Nástupnictví v rodinných podnicích

This thesis focuses on the topic of succession in family firms. It focuses on the handover of the firm to the next generation and the measures that both, the transferor and the successor, have to take to make the handover successful. The topic of succession has been very topical in the last few years for family firms in the Czech Republic, which started to be established after 1989. The founders are now approaching retirement age and are dealing with who to pass their business on to, whether the descendants will build on their success and whether generational change will take place. The aim of this thesis is to define the main factors that influence the succession and to propose the optimal way of handing over the company to the next generation, based on the conducted expert research on this issue. In the practical part, selected family businesses with whom in-depth interviews are conducted are presented. On the basis of the evaluation of the obtained information, measures leading to the easiest possible succession transfer in a family business are proposed.

Performance Evaluation of a Food Production Company

The subject of the diploma thesis is the performance evaluation of a family-based food production company. The theoretical part of the thesis defines terms related to the performance evaluation performance and also focuses on the specifics of a family business. In the analytical part, the thesis is focused on the introduction of the company and the analysis of the company's performance by the method of comparison with competing companies. The output of this section is a performance summary using the company's strengths and weaknesses and the identification of opportunities and threats. In the part of proposal, the proposed project for the strategic management of the company is elaborated, which aims to improve the performance evaluation within the internal processes of increasing the performance in the analyzed company.

Life and business of Jindřich Fišer and his descendants

This work is about Jindřich Fišer, but also about several of his descendants, who in their lives devoted themselves mainly to the operation of various gastronomic enterprises in the ter- ritory of the capital city of Prague. In writing the work I based mainly on various archival ma- terials, which are stored in the Archives of the capital city of Prague, the National Archives or in the State Regional Archives in Prague. However, I was also supported by newspaper articles or materials from the private archives of living persons. In addition to the already mentioned Jindřich Fišer, who operated a brewery in Přerov nad Labem at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, the text focuses on the life stories of two of his sons - Václav, who between the years 1938 and 1948 operated with his son Zdeněk the Café Slavia near the National Theatre, and Jindřich, who connected his life with a bar of not very good reputation in the Old Town Square. Part of the second chapter is also devoted to the business activities of one of Jindřich's grandsons, Jaroslav Fišer, and his confectionery in Hy- bernská Street in the New Town of Prague.
