The influence of external actors in the Western Balkans: the influence of China and Russia in Serbia
Culka, Jiří ; Weiss, Tomáš (advisor) ; Žíla, Ondřej (referee)
This thesis aims to examine the influence of external actors in the Western Balkans, first in general terms, and then the influence of two important power actors, Russia and China, on Serbia as an important target actor. The thesis first offers a general discussion of the influence of external actors on policymaking of third countries in the first chapter, presenting its essential characteristics in selected substantive characteristics. It then introduces the external actors in the Western Balkans themselves, including the EU, and their influence in the region. The second chapter then presents the thesis's own theoretical framework for analysing the influence of external actors and introduces the tools used in each area of influence. It also discusses the operationalisation of the thesis, the narrowing of the thesis topic, the research question itself and the rationale for its selection. Finally, the third chapter presents the thesis's own comparative case study of the influence of Russia and China as external power actors on Serbia as the target actor, based on the theoretical framework presented in the previous chapter. Finally, it then reaches a synthesizing conclusion, presents key findings regarding the influence of the choice of goals/interests of power actors on the choice of instruments of...
Project Documentation of Electrical Wiring for Comercial Building
Vondráček, David ; Bátora, Branislav (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the creation of electrical documentation for a commercial building. It aims to introduce theoretical problems of electrical design in general and the processing of implementation project for a woodworking workshop. The theoretical part of the thesis is mainly devoted to important findings and normative requirements for high-current, low-current distributions, and a draft of external and internal lighting protection. The practical part of the thesis deals with the processing of the implementation project of electrical drawing and text parts for a woodworking workshop. The project documentation includes the preparation of a technical report, the determination of the protocol on external influences, a draft of socket and light circuits, including lighting calculation, complete lighting protection, and risk management, electronic fire system, and a draft of the main and the sub-switchboard of the building.
Long optical fibre routes influence on the polarizing state of light and uses it for powering polarization sensors
Panascí, Marco ; Grenar, David (referee) ; Filka, Miloslav (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the influence of long fiber optic paths on the polarization state of light and their use for powering polarization sensors. The aim of the diploma thesis was to design the arrangement of optical fiber components so that the polarization properties of light at the end of the path are further usable for sensory purposes. Four partial measurements with a long path (in a laboratory setting, laying in the ground, on a curtain, under the influence of external influence) and one measurement without a path under the influence of external influence were designed. The overall measurement results demonstrate that for the functional power supply of long-distance sensor systems, an existing single-mode fiber can be used (laid by laying in the ground), into which a light source for a given sensor system would be multiplexed. In the discussion, all types of measurements are analyzed and compared with each other. Finally, the overall result is summarized and applications are described in which such a sensor system could be used.
