BEDNÁŘOVÁ, Sabrina
The Bachelor's thesis deals with the use of expressive techniques with disabled clients. The aim of the Bachelor's thesis was to find out which expressive techniques are used by selected social service organisations in Jindřichův Hradec when working with disabled clients. As emerged from the results, some expressive techniques are used by the selected institutions; however, not all of them. The thesis is divided into two parts - a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part comprises three main chapters. In the first chapter, the term disability is defined, including a description of each type of disability. The second chapter addresses the system of social services. The third chapter deals with the term expressive techniques and their classification. The practical part of the thesis investigates the use of expressive techniques in selected organisations in Jindřichův Hradec that focus on working with disabled people. The research part of the thesis was implemented using a qualitative form of research, an interview method, a semi-structured interview and secondary data analysis. The obtained data was then processed using open coding and utilized to draw conclusions to each research question. The main benefits of expressive techniques include especially relaxation and calming of the client.
