Refrigeration unit with the R718 refrigerant
Krupa, Matyáš ; Tuhovčák, Ján (referee) ; Hejčík, Jiří (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the design of a cooling system using the refrigerant R718 (water) with a capacity of 5 kW for building cooling. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter describes the basic principles of cooling systems, thermodynamic cycles, and refrigerants. The following second chapter provides an analysis of the compressor cycle and its individual components – compressor, heat exchangers, and expansion valve. The final third chapter focuses on the actual design of the cooling system, including thermodynamic calculations and determining the basic geometric parameters of the compressor.
The Effect of the Bypass Factor on Design and Geometry of the Evaporator for the Cooling Unit
Vytasil, Michal ; Rubinová, Olga (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
Diploma thesis focuses on effect of the bypass factor on design and geometry of the evaporator for the cooling unit of data centre. Effect of the bypass factor on individual design parameters is solved in detail. All dependendecies are captured by using graphs in which s placed a cement on that parameter. In part C, mathematical and physical solutions are demonstrated calculations and processes leading to the design of the exchanger. In the end, evaluation of the calculations is done and there is also showed possible improvements for the practise.
Cooling systems in transport vehicles
Andrlík, Ladislav ; Fojtlín, Miloš (referee) ; Tuhovčák, Ján (advisor)
The purpose of this work is to examine currently used types of automobile cooling systems. This examination is presented in the form of a search report. The history of air conditioning is briefly described in the introduction of this work. The work then deals with the classification and description of cooling systems and their partial components which are complemented by pictures for better visualization. The primary focus is on the types and constructions of the compressors since the compressor is the fundamental element of all air conditioning circuit. The work concludes with information about coolants and adequate oil in use in relation to their ecological impact.
Heating of the administrative part of the production hall
Pečenka, Matěj ; Horká, Lucie (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of the heating system, cooling of office and public spaces and the preparation of hot water by means of a cascade of air / water heat pumps. The first part of the thesis briefly deals with the history, function and distribution of individual types of heat pumps with a focus on the air / water heat pump. The second part contains a complete calculation and design of individual elements and equipment of the entire heating system. The last part of the thesis is a project at the level of construction documentation containing technical report and drawing documentation.
Processing of documentation for testing station of heat pumps switchbox assembly line
Šindler, Matěj ; Škranc, Petr (referee) ; Polsterová, Helena (advisor)
In opening, this diploma thesis is introducing the company Daikin Device Czech s.r.o. In the next step the principle of function of a heat pump. Then there are described its main parts. First part of this thesis is dedicated to assembly line of the heat pump’s switchboxes. The layout of the assembly line is described and added with description of used health and quality measures. Main part is speaking about running test of the switchbox line. The main function of the test is described alongside with description of the process of making the testing software.
